Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램에 대한 연구이다. 졸업연주회 프로그램은 퍼셀, 모차르트, 리스트, 레스피기, 아르젠토의 성악곡들을 바로크시대부터 20세기 현대까지 총 5부분으로 나누고 영어, 라틴어, 독일어, 이태리어 총 4가지 언어로 구성하였다. 퍼셀(Henry Purcell, 1659-1695)의 “음악은 잠시 동안 (Music for a while)”과 “만약 음악이 사랑의 양식이라면 (If music be the food of love),” 이 두 가곡 안에서 어떠한 음악적 기법을 사용하여 가사를 구체적으로 표현하고 있는지 연구하였다. 모차르트(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791)의 Solo Motet <환호하라, 기뻐하라 (Exsultate, Jubilate) K.165>의 작곡 배경, 형식, 각 곡의 특징들이 어떻게 효과적으로 나타나고 있는지 연구하였다. 리스트(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886)의 “기쁨과 슬픔 (Freudvoll und leidvoll)”, “얼마나 놀라운 일인가 (Es muss ein Wunderbares sein)”, “어부소년 (Der Fischerknabe)” 그리고 “사랑의 기쁨 안에서 (In Liebeslust)” 이 네 가곡을 통해 리스트가 시를 표현하기 위해 반주와 성악파트에 표현했던 다양한 음악적 요소에 대해 연구하였다. 레스피기(Ottorino Respighi, 1879-1936)의 “저녁 (Notte)”, “설경 (Nevicata)”, “오 지는 초승달 빛 (O falce di luna)” 그리고 “비 (Pioggia)” 이 네 개 가곡에 나타난 시어를 묘사한 음악적 표현들, 시의 분위기에 따라 변화하는 음악적 특징을 파악함으로 레스피기가 시를 어떻게 이해하고 해석했는지 연구하였다. 아르젠토(Dominick Argento, 1927-)의 <Six Elizabethan Songs> 6개의 노래 중 “Ⅰ.봄 (Spring)”, “Ⅲ. 겨울(Winter)”, “Ⅳ. 애도가(Dirge)”, “Ⅴ. 디아페니아(Diaphenia)”를 중심으로 효과적인 시의 전달을 위한 성악선율의 구성과, 음악적 표현요소를 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 위 다섯 작곡가의 생애와 음악적 특징, 각 곡들의 특징 그리고 가사 해석을 연구하여 곡에 대한 이해를 높이고 이를 통한 보다 발전된 연주를 목적으로 한다.;This thesis is a study of the graduation recital program for the Master's degree. The program is Purcell, Mozart, Liszt, Respighi and Argento ranging from Baroque to 20th century modern era. The study focuses on the features of the composer’s works. The works are as follow : “Music for a while” and “If music be the food of love” by Henry Purcell, 1659-1695, four songs from <Exsultate, Jubilate> Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791, “Freudvoll und leidvoll” and “Es muss ein Wunderbares sein” and “Der Fischerknabe” and “In Liebeslust” by Franz Liszt, 1811-1886, “Notte” and “Nevicata” and “O falce di luna” and “Pioggia” by Ottorino Respighi, 1879-1936, four songs from <Six Elizabethan Songs> by Dominick Argento, 1927-. This thesis is a study of a composition method of “Music for a while” and “If music be the food of love” by Purcell(Henry Purcell, 1659-1695). Also, it is a study of his significantly outstanding ways to put lyrics for enhancing completion of songs. This thesis is for studying of the structure of Motet <Exsultate, Jubilate K.165> by Mozart(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756-1791) and of musical elements which enliven the atmosphere each movement. “Freudvoll und leidvoll”, “Es muss ein Wunderbares sein”, “Der Fischerknabe” and “In Liebeslust” by Liszt(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886) are studied for expressional methods which adding colorful poetry on piano melody. And this thesis is for studying of patterns how Liszt put poetic lyric on vocal melodies. “Notte”, “Nevicata”, “O falce di luna” and “Pioggia” by Respighi(Ottorino Respighi, 1879-1936) are studied for defining a relation between Tone painting and Respighi’s music. The relation between lyric and his music is also studied. The song cycle <Six Elizabethan Songs> by Argento(Dominick Argento, 1927-) is comprised of six songs which are composed of the Elizabethan poetry. Four songs, “Ⅰ. Spring”, “Ⅲ. Winter”, “Ⅳ. Dirge”, “Ⅴ. Diaphenia” among <Six Elizabethan Songs> are studied for comprehending the relations of lyric and music.
