뉴실버 세대를 위한 온디맨드 의료 서비스디자인 모델 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 고령화 사회로 진입한 현시점에서, 국내 뉴실버 세대가 일상적인 질병 관리를 통해 스스로 삶의 질을 높이는 데 도움을 주는 온디맨드(On-Demand) 의료서비스 모델을 제안하는 것을 목표로 두고 진행되었다. 언제 어디서나 이용할 수 있는, 양질의 u-헬스케어(u-Healthcare) 서비스의 개발 방향을 제시함으로써, 상시적인 질병 치료, 예방 및 관리에 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구는 국내 뉴실버 세대가 안정된 경제력과 높은 생활 수준을 바탕으로 새로운 의료서비스 소비의 주체로 떠오르고 있다는 점과 인터넷 및 모바일기기 이용률이 높다는 점에서 착안, 연구의 대상을 뉴실버 세대로 정하였으며 서비스디자인(Service Design) 방법론을 활용하여 다음의 네 단계로 진행되었다. 첫째, 문제의 발견 단계이다. 문헌조사를 통해 서비스의 주 사용자가 될 뉴실버 세대의 특징과, u-헬스케어의 개념과 국내외 현황, 의료 서비스디자인의 사례를 살펴보고, 연구의 대상을 이해함으로써 기회요소를 파악하였다. 둘째, 문제의 정의 단계이다. 뉴실버 세대의 국내 의료서비스에 대한 인식 및 니즈(Needs) 파악을 위하여 사용자 조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사와 1:1 심층 인터뷰(1:1 In-Depth Interview)를 실시하였고, 문제의 속성을 정의함과 동시에 사용자의 의료서비스 이용을 저해하고 의료경험에 부정적인 영향을 끼치는 요소를 도출하였다. 이후 페르소나(Persona) 방법을 이용하여 대표 사용자 모델을 정의하고, 고객여정맵(User Journey Map)으로 페르소나가 겪는 문제 발생의 흐름을 살펴보았다. 셋째, 아이디어의 발전 단계이다. 사용자 조사의 로우데이터(Rawdata) 속에서 얻어낸 통찰(Insight)을 바탕으로, 문제 간의 관계를 파악하고 핵심 문제를 도출한 뒤 문제의 해결 및 개선을 위한 아이디어를 구체화하였다. 넷째, 결과 도출 및 전달 단계이다. 서비스 콘셉트(Concept)를 도출하고 뉴실버 세대를 위한 온디맨드 의료서비스 모델을 제안하였다. 의료서비스의 무형성을 극복하고 표준화를 꾀할 수 있도록, 서비스 블루프린트(Service Blueprint) 방법을 통해 서비스의 전 이용 과정을 상세하게 나타내었다. 본 연구는 뉴실버 세대 대상 온디맨드 의료서비스 모델 연구에 서비스디자인 방법론을 활용했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구를 기점으로, 앞으로 서비스디자인이 도래하는 원격의료 시대를 대비하는 하나의 방법론으로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.;The purpose of the study This study proposed an on-demand medical service that improves the quality of new silver generation’s life by enabling the new silver generation to maintain their own common diseases. Providing a developmental direction toward a ubiquitous, high-quality u-Healthcare service, this study aimed to support the effective treatment, prevention and management of diseases. Inspired by the fact that a new silver generation has become major consumers of new medical services, and vastly utilized internet services and mobile devices, based on their stable economic and high living standard, a new silver generation was selected as a study subject. Following four steps were implemented with a service design methodology. The first step is to find a problem. Previous studies and literature were reviewed to understand the features of a new silver generation who will be a main user of the services, the concept and current status of u-Healthcare and the examples of the medical service design, thereby identifying opportunities. The second step is to define the problem. In order to pinpoint the new silver generation’s cognition and needs in domestic medical services, users were investigated. A survey and in-depth interviews were performed. While the features of the problem were being defined, factors that negatively affect healthcare experiences and impede users to use medical services were derived. A user model by employing the persona method was defined, and then the flow of problem occurrences which the persona experienced by using the user journey map, was investigated. The third step is to develop ideas. Based on the insight that was obtained from user-investigation raw data, the relationship among problems were verified, the main problem was derived and ideas to solve and improve the problem were specified. The last step is to conclude the study and deliver take-home messages. The concept of medical services was derived and an on-demand medical service model for the new silver generation was proposed. In order to overcome the intangibility of medical services and standardize them, the service blueprint method was employed to demonstrate the whole process of using the service in a detailed manner. This study has a significance in that the service design methodology was utilized to research an on-demand medical service model for the new silver generation. I expect that this study serves as a methodology to prepare an era of telemedicine with the proposed service design.
