Abstract

Love the human primitive emotion, which is general to the humanity, is a force that enables humanity to build human-respectful relationships. There are various types of love, however, this paper focuses on the romantic love, which implies affectionate emotion. The relationship formed based on this sort of love is called 'lovers', and generally this term refers to the relationship between male and female lovers. The lovers relationship gets completed when two total strangers happen to meet and fall in love, begin to rely on and take care of each other. However, the relationship happens not only to male and female, which is so-called general relationship. The loving emotion and the relationship formation caused by the emotion is emerging not because of different sex. Just like it is said that love has no borders, it is not always true that love is destined for appropriate target in appropriate range; sometimes it is even free from biological sex. In 21st century, homosexual love began to be included to the category of love and recognized as much as heterosexual love, as many countries legalize homosexual marriage. Like hetero-sexual love, homosexual love is being naturally regarded as the lovers’ relationships which based on love. Heterosexual love, the most general sexual love, is the relationship between the person with male identity in male body and the person with female identity in female body. Homosexual love is also the love between two people whose gender identity and physical sex are corresponding. However, unlike hetero-sexual love, homo-sexual love is formed between two people who have same sex. Commonly, hetero-sexual love and homo-sexual love are considered as totally different types of love. However, they have something in common: They are both Cisgender's love. Cisgender is a term that indicates one of sexual identities. If someone's gender identity and physical sex corresponds, it is Cisgender. Therefore, hetero-sexual love and homo-sexual love are both the love of Cisgenders. This two sexual loves, the most widely known and accepted sex orientation, are first-reminded relationships when someone thinks of the words 'love' and 'lovers'. However, the love of people who have disaccording physical sex and gender identity, or even the people whose gender identity does not belong to this binary category is not widely-known love. Unlike Cisgenders, it is difficult to categorize the love of Queer Genders, or trans-genders, whose physical sex and gender identity is opposite, into hetero-sexual or homo-sexual love. Especially in the case of Gender Queer, the categorization gets more difficult because the term Gender Queer embraces every gender identity that is classified as neither male nor female. And even there is no term that describes their sexual orientation yet. The term 'Cisgender' and 'Transgender' is basically subdivide physical sex and gender identity into 'male' and 'female', therefore they could be categorized into hetero-sexual and homo-sexual love. In contrast, defining the relationships between Gender Queers is more difficult due to the fact that their sexual identities cannot be divided into binary system. Like this human sex and love is various and complicated even difficult to define. Human love have been recognized by the category of heterosexual and homosexual for a long time. However, under the condition of expanding cognition of gender identities and sexual love, attempts are arousing to understand and embrace various identities out of binary gender identity boundary that only contains male and female. With these growing social changes and understanding of variety, gender diversity is being accepted by more people gradually, and more categories will be widely known. But however gender identity is different to one another and diverse, every love is just a same love as a love of a heterosexuals. But regardless of the diversity and complexity of gender identity, however gender identities they have, their love is no different from the hetero-sexual love. This work aims to express that every love is beautiful, using affectionate images of the lovers of various gender identities. With only one background music, the video images are methodologically used. Although every one of us has different gender identity and sexual orientation, this work tries to show every love is beautiful regardless of whose‘love’it is. Images are depicting individually different gender identities and their loves with lovers based on their identities. The objective of this research is to show that all human sex and love is beautiful, delivering the message that the loves of all the different people are now being built in contemporary age. With this message, my intention is to serve an opportunity to think that the most important thing of love is truthful mind, and regardless of whatever sexual identities people have, we are all ‘beloved person’.;사랑이란 인간의 근원적인 감정으로 인류에게 보편적이며, 인격적인 교제를 가능하게 하는 힘이다 두산백과 이 사랑에는 여러 가지 종류가 있지만 본 논문에서는 연애 감정을 뜻하는 낭만적 사랑(Romantic love) 가족애, 애국심, 우애, 동포애와 구분되는 연인간의 사랑을 나타내는 말. 에 초점을 둔다. 이러한 사랑을 기반으로 하여 형성된 관계를 우리는 ‘연인’이라고 하며 흔히 이 ‘연인’이란 단어는 사랑하는 남성과 여성의 관계를 부를 때 사용된다. 그러나 서로 타인으로 태어나서 완전히 다른 길을 걷던 두 사람이 만나 서로를 사랑하고 의지하고 보듬어주며 완성되는 연인관계는 비단 보편적인 만남인 남녀 사이에서만 이루어지지는 않는다. 사랑이라는 감정과 그로인해 맺게 되는 연인이라는 관계는 단순히 한 남성이 남성이기 때문에 다른 여성을 여성이기 때문에 사랑하게 되는 것은 아니기 때문이다. 흔히 사랑은 국경도 뛰어넘는다고 하듯이 사랑은 언제나 적절한 범위 내에서 적절한 대상에게만 향하지 않는다. 때로는 심지어 성별도 뛰어넘곤 하는 것이 사랑이다. 21세기에 이르러 수많은 국가에서 동성 결혼을 합법화 할 정도로 동성애도 이성애 못지않게 사랑의 범주, 연인의 범주에 포함되고 인정받기 시작했다. 사랑을 기반으로 이루어진 연인 관계로서 이성애만큼 동성애도 사람들에게 자연스럽게 받아들여지기 시작한 것이다. 가장 보편적인 성애인 이성애가 남성의 몸을 가지고 스스로 남성의 성정체성을 가진 사람과 여성의 몸을 가지고 스스로 여성의 성정체성을 가진 사람 간의 사랑인 것처럼 동성애 역시 자신의 정신적인 성과 신체적인 성이 일치하는 두 사람들 간의 사랑인데 다만 이성애와 차이는 이성애가 남녀사이에서 이루어지는 반면 동성애는 동성 간에 이루어진다는 점이다. 이성애와 동성애는 일반적으로 크게 다른 분류로 여겨지지만 사실 시스젠더(Cisgender)의 사랑이란 점에서 공통점을 갖는다. 시스젠더는 스스로 가진 정신적 성과 신체적인 성(sex)이 일치하는 성정체성을 가리키는 말로 이성애와 동성애는 둘 다 시스젠더의 사랑이라고 할 수 있다. 이 두 성애는 가장 널리 알려지고 인정되는 성적 지향성으로 ‘사랑’과 ‘연인’이란 단어를 생각했을 때 가장 먼저 연상되는 관계이다. 반면 신체적 성과 정신적성이 일치하지 않거나 심지어 정신적 성이 남녀 이분법적인 분류에 속하지 않는 이들의 사랑은 흔히 알려지지 않은 사랑이다. 신체적 성과 정신적 성이 반대인 트랜스젠더(Transgender)의 사랑이나 젠더 퀴어 단순히 남성과 여성으로 나눠지지 않는 성정체성으로 양성성인 안드로진(Androgyne), 남성과 여성의 정체성을 오가는 바이젠더(Bigender), 남녀 이분법적 정체성이 존재하지 않는 에이젠더(Agender) 등으로 분류 된다. (Gender Queer)의 사랑은 시스젠더의 사랑과는 달리 쉽게 이성애나 동성애로 분류하기 어려운 경우가 많다. 특히 젠더 퀴어의 사랑일 경우에 그 분류가 트랜스젠더보다 더 어려운데 젠더 퀴어는 정신적 성이 명확히 ‘남성’이나 ‘여성’에 속하지 않는 모든 성정체성을 아우르는 말로 이들의 사랑은 동성애와 이성애의 분류만으로 구분하기 어렵고 심지어 이들의 성적 지향을 뜻하는 단어도 아직 만들어지지 않았기 때문이다. 시스젠더나 트랜스젠더는 기본적으로 ‘남성’과 ‘여성’으로 신체적, 정신적 성을 구분하기에 큰 범주에서는 이성애, 동성애로 나뉠 수 있는 반면 젠더 퀴어는 성정체성 자체가 이분법적으로 나뉘지 않기 때문에 이들의 관계를 규정 짓기는 어렵다. 이렇듯 인간의 성과 사랑은 다양하고도 복잡하며 심지어 정의내리기 어려운 경우가 있다. 인간의 사랑이 오랜 시간 동안 이성애와 동성애의 범주 안에서 인식 되어져왔음에도 불구하고 다양한 성 정체성과 성애에 대한 인식이 확장되면서 세계적으로 점점 더 남성, 여성으로 나뉘는 이분법적 성 정체성 밖의 다양한 정체성을 인지하고 받아들이려는 시도와 움직임이 일어나고 있다. 이러한 사회적 변화와 다양성에 대한 인식이 자라남에 따라 성정체성의 다양성은 점진적으로 더 많은 사람들에게 받아들여지고 다양성이 인정되며 그 분류는 앞으로 더 많이 늘어날지도 모른다. 그러나 성정체성이 다양하고 서로 다르며 복잡할지언정 그 어떤 성정체성을 가진 사람들 간의 사랑도 이성애와 다름없는 사랑이라는 점에서는 같다. 본 연구은 다양한 정체성을 가진 연인들의 사랑이미지를 통해 세상의 모든 사랑은 아름답다는 것의 표현함을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 방법으로는 영상을 매체로 하며 모든 작품에 동일한 음악을 사용한다. 우리 모두 서로 다른 성 정체성이나 성적 지향을 가졌지만 그 어떤 인간의‘사랑’이든 사랑은 모두 아름답다는 것을 표현한다. 영상 이미지들은 각기 다른 성정체성과 그를 기반으로 한 연인들의 사랑을 표현한 것이다. 본 연구는 서로 다른 사람들의 사랑이 동시대에 이 세상에서 이루어지고 있다는 것을 전함으로써 인간의 모든 성과 사랑은 아름답다는 것을 보여주고자 한다. 이를 통해 결국 사랑에서 중요한 것은 진실한 마음이며 어떤 성정체성을 가지고 있든 우리는 모두 ‘사랑하는 사람’이라는 점을 생각할 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 하였다.
