만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위한 가정과의 연계 방안 실행연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 유치원 생활에 어려움이 보이는 만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위하여 가정과의 연계 방안을 모색하여 실행하고, 실행 방안의 효과를 파악함으로써 유치원 생활 적응에 어려움을 보이는 다문화가정 유아를 위한 유아교육의 시사점을 고찰하는 것이다. 이를 알아보기 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위한 가정과의 연계 방안은 무엇인가? 2. 만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위한 가정과의 연계 방안의 효과는 어떠한가? 본 연구는 부산광역시에 위치하고 있는 푸른유치원 만 3세 학급에서 이루어졌으며, 연구대상은 다문화가정 유아 희망이와 베트남 출신의 희망이의 어머니 총 2명이다. 희망이는 의사소통이 어렵고 또래와 어울리지 못하는 등 유치원 생활에 어려움이 있어 도움이 필요했다. 이 어려움을 개선하기 위해 4월부터 진행되어오던 희망이의 어머니와 원장선생님과의 1:1 부모교육을 점검하고, 희망이의 행동을 관찰 및 담임교사와의 면담, 개인 포트폴리오, 생활기록부 등을 분석하여 유치원 생활 적응을 위한 가정 연계 방안을 계획했다. 자료수집 기간은 2015년 8월 11일부터 10월 30일까지 약 10주였으며, 희망이의 문제행동 및 부모교육 프로그램 현황 분석, 이에 따른 프로그램 계획, 1차 실행 및 평가, 평가에 따른 2차 방안 수정, 2차 실행 및 평가 순서로 실시되었다. 참여관찰과 면담에 대한 녹화, 녹음 자료를 전사하여 현장노트를 작성했다. 이 외에도 면담, 연구자 저널, 사진 등 관련된 자료를 수집한 후 이를 범주화, 부호화하여 연구문제별로 분석했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위해 유아의 의사소통능력 증진과 유치원 생활의 어려움을 개선하고 어머니의 양육태도를 개선하는 가정과의 연계 방안을 모색하여 실시했다. 1차 실행에서는 유아의 흥미와 발달에 맞는 목표 설정으로 대·소집단 활동에 참여하도록하며 언어적 상호작용 증진과 유치원 생활의 어려움을 돕기 위하여 유치원에서는 개별적 도움을 주고 부모교육을 통해 가정에서도 일관된 양육 을 받을 수 있도록 했다. 1차 실행 평가를 반영한 2차 실행에서는 지속적인 개별지원을 하되 희망이에 대한 또래의 인식을 변화시키기 위한 활동을 계획하였으며, 가정에는 가정통신문을 제공하여 매일 유아와 상호작용하며 유아의 반응을 평가할 수 있도록 했다. 둘째, 만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위한 가정과의 연계방안의 효과를 살펴보면 희망이는 의사소통의 태도가 변화였으며 대·소집단활동 참여 태도가 개선되었고 또래와 어울려 놀기 시작했다. 하늘반 유아들은 희망이에 대한 인식과 태도가 변화하였으며, 희망이의 어머니는 양육에 대한 이해와 태도에 변화가 있었으며 희망이와 전보다 가까워져 행복함을 표현했다. 본 연구는 만 3세 다문화가정 유아의 유치원 생활 적응을 위한 가정과의 연계 방안의 실행이 희망이 어머니의 양육태도를 개선하며 희망이의 의사소통 능력 향상과 또래 관계 형성 등 유치원 생활 적응에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 시사한다.;To help three-year-old early child of multi-cultural family showing a problem behavior in a preschool to be adapted to a preschool life, this study aims at examining suggestions for early child education for multi-cultural family's infants who are inadaptable to a preschool by implementing a family-connected measure and identifying its effect. Research topics are as follows. 1. What a family-connected measure is there for adaptation to a preschool by three-year-old early child of multi-cultural family? 2. What effect of a family-connected measure on adaptation to a preschool by three-year-old early child of multi-cultural family? This study was conducted for 2 persons including an early child of a multi-cultural family named Huimang and his mother from Vietnam at the three years class of Pureun Kindergarten located at Busan Metropolitan City. Huimang had difficulties in communication and company with his peers in a preschool life, requiring a help. To solve such problems, 1:1 parent education done from April between Huimang's mother and principal was checked, his behaviors were observed, and family-connected measure was planned for adaptation to the preschool through analysis on interview with a homeroom teacher, personal portfolio and a student record. Data collection was conducted for about 10 weeks from 11th, August to 30th, October, 2015. Also it was conducted with analysis on Huimang's problem behaviors and parent education program, planning of a resulting program, initial execution and evaluation, second measure correction based on evaluation, and second execution and evaluation in order. Transcription was done based on video taped and recorded data of participant observation and interview and a field note was written down. In addition, related data including interviews, researcher journals and photos were collected, categorized, encoded and analyzed by research topic. Research findings are as follows. Firstly, with a view to adaptation to a preschool by three-year-old early child of multi-cultural family, this study groped for and implemented a family-connected measure to increase early child's communication skills and improve problem behaviors along with his mother's improvement on parenting styles. In the first execution, early child was induced to participate in large ·small group activities through setting a objective fitting for his interest and development. With individual aid by the preschool, he was made to get proper rearing at home through parent education to increase linguistic interaction and improve problem behaviors. In the second execution reflecting the evaluation on the 1st execution, along with continual individual supports, activity was planned to change recognition of peers on Huimang. Parent was also made to have interaction with him everyday and evaluate his reaction at home through offering home correspondence. Secondly, as a result of examining an effect of a family-connected measure on adaption to an institution by three-year-old early child of multi-cultural family, it showed that Huimang began to get along with his peers, changing a communicative attitude and improving participation in large · small group activities. Early children of Haneul class changed their recognition and attitude on Huimang. Mother of Huimang expressed happiness of intimacy with Huimang with changed understanding and attitude on nurturing. This research has significance in that it showed a family-connected measure for adaption to a preschool by three-year-old early child of multi-cultural family improved his mother's parenting style and had a positive effect on his adaption to a preschool including increase of communicative skills and forming peer relationship.
