대학생의 지각된 경제적 박탈감과 심리적 안녕감의 관계

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 지각된 경제적 박탈감과 심리적 안녕감의 관계를 밝히고, 지각된 경제적 박탈감과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 심리적 변인인 희망과 사회비교가 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구는 전국의 남녀대학생 417명을 대상으로 이루어졌으며, 자기보고식 설문을 통해 지각된 경제적 박탈감, 희망, 사회비교, 심리적 안녕감을 측정하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS 23.0을 통하여 이루어졌다. 희망의 매개효과를 알아보기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 매개효과를 검증하였고, 사회비교의 조절효과를 검증하기 위하여 위계적 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 모형을 검증한 결과, 지각된 경제적 박탈감은 심리적 안녕감과 부적상관을 보였다. 또한, 희망이 지각된 경제적 박탈감과 심리적 안녕감의 관계를 유의하게 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 조절효과를 검증한 결과, 지각된 경제적 박탈감과 심리적 안녕감의 관계를 사회비교가 유의하게 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 종합하면 지각된 경제적 박탈감의 수준이 높은 사람들의 경우 낮은 수준의 희망을 보이고, 이는 낮은 수준의 심리적 안녕감을 예측한다고 이해할 수 있다. 또한, 지각된 경제적 박탈감의 수준이 높을수록 낮은 수준의 심리적 안녕감을 보이지만, 이 관계에서 능력비교 수준이 낮은 집단의 경우 높은 집단에 비해 전반적으로 높은 수준의 심리적 안녕감을 보였다. 즉, 지각된 경제적 박탈감으로 인한 낮은 수준의 심리적 안녕감에 있어서 능력비교를 덜하는 것이 보호요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 지각된 경제적 박탈감이 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 실질적으로 개입이 용이한 심리적, 인지적 변인을 확인하고, 이를 실제 상담 장면에서 활용할 수 있는 기초를 마련하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.;This study aims to reveal the relationship between psychological well-being and a sense of economic deprivation perceived by university students, and to examine how the comparison of society and hope which is the psychological factor, affects, when it comes to perceived sense of economic deprivation and psychological well-being. This study was conducted, aiming at 417 university students, and it estimated the perceived sense of economic deprivation, hope, social comparison and psychological well-being. The data analysis was conducted with SPSS 23.0. In order to figure out the mediating effect of hope, it verified the meditating effect by implementing the multiple regression analysis. And it also conducted a Hierarchical Linear Regression to verify moderating effect of social comparison. As a result of verifying the research model, there appeared a negative correlation between perceived sense of economic deprivation and psychological well-being. Furthermore, hope was significantly found to have partially mediated the correlation between perceived sense of economic deprivation and psychological well-being. And as a result of verification of moderating effect by conducting a Hierarchical Linear Regression, it has appeared that the social comparison does significantly moderate the correlation between perceived sense of economic deprivation and psychological well-being. By putting these research results together, people with high sense of perceived sense of economic deprivation showed a low level of hope and it can be understood that this leads to low level of psychological well-being. In addition, although it seems that the higher the perceived sense of economic, the lower the level of psychological well-being is shown, but in general, it showed a high level of psychological well-being in the case of group with low level of ability comparison compared with a group with high level of it in terms of relationship. In other words, less comparison of ability can act as a protection factor with regard to low level of psychological well-being caused by perceived sense of economic deprivation. Therefore, this study has a significance in that it identifies the psychological, and cognitive variables which can be easily, and practically intervened in the path, in which the perceived sense of economic deprivation influences the psychological well-being, and it establishes the basis which is applicable in the actual scene of consultation.
