협동학습 이론을 적용한 해금창작곡 감상수업 지도안 개발

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develope teaching plans for creative Haeguem music appreciation classes of the first-year middle school students by applying STAD cooperative learning theory. The importance of the traditional Korean music in overall music education steadily increases and its territory has also become expanded in a large scale. Among other genres of the Korean traditional music the creative traditional music education can have the friendly advantage of being regarded as easy and positive by students new to the traditional music. The creative instrumental music, however, has the least importance in most of the currently used music textbooks under the revision of the 2009 curriculum, along with one-sided inclination only to listening appreciation activities in class without providing notes, class objectives, explanations of the songs, playing activities. Besides, there seems to be a considerable lack of class materials and strategies of creative instrumental music for the middle and high school students. Thus, the quite boring way of running the creative traditional Korean music appreciation class consequently frustrates students' interest in the music. With a high possibility that such a negative feeling incurred from the boredom towards the traditional Korean music deeply roots in students' mind, the fundamental reevaluation of the creative Korean traditional music appreciation class seems necessarily required. For this study, the creative instrumental songs which are included in middle school music textbooks under the revision of the 2009 curriculum, have been analyzed. Among the songs Kim Youngjae’s ‘Jomyunggok’ and Lee Sung-Chen's ‘Even sunlight into a rat hole’ were chosen as musical pieces. A teaching plan from 1st to 7th class was developed. And theoretical consideration has been performed by analysis of the preceding researches and literature materials. Based on this, a cooperative learning was selected as a teaching method. A music department STAD cooperative learning model was developed by analyzing a various kinds of cooperative learning theories and music department cooperative learning models. Lastly, a creative Haeguem appreciation class teaching plan, with the music department STAD cooperative learning model applied, was formulated. The teaching plan is composed of seven classes in total. The plans for the 1st through 4th class used ‘Jomyunggok’ as a musical piece, while ‘Even sunlight into a rat hole’ was used for the ones for 5th through 7th class. Performed by using five staged songs and STAD cooperative learning model, the class consists of 'music assignments and selection of the objects, objective presentation, explanation of the teacher, group learning, opening the score of each group and giving a reward.' Group learning activity is proceeded by division of roles, teacher's explanation, sub-group activities and evaluation, along with comprehension, discussion, appreciation, creation, composition, presentation and evaluation. Futhermore, these teaching plans include test papers for each class, activity report, presentation activity report, individual quiz evaluation paper, PPT study materials. The teaching plans of this study successfully went through the feasibility verification by asking three present music teachers to answer a questionnaire. The questions in the questionnaire are composed of twelve questions in total: ten multiple choices and two open-ended. The multiple-choice questions resulted in average 4.701 out of 5 point Likert scale. As a result of this, the conclusion was drawn that the content and composition of the developed teaching plan have meaningful validity and are proper enough to be applied for real school classes. The answer to one of open-ended questions from the three teachers, which asks of advantages and disadvantages revealed eight merits and one demerit. The three teachers did not forget to advise that this teaching plan can be successfully fulfilled by teachers' roles and capabilities and that there needs to always inspection of evaluation phase in actual class. This study finds its practical as well as academic meanings in a sense that it can suggest a solution, through reassessment of the creative Korean traditional music appreciation class, for the absence of the class strategies by means of providing new strategic teaching plans and developing teaching materials for the creative Haeguem appreciation class in the use of STAD cooperative learning. My dearest hope is that the developed teaching plans through this study will be of service to effective creative Korean traditional music classes in an actual education field and that there will be continuous studies on various teaching methods, so that students may have positive attitudes towards the traditional Korean music and enjoy the beauty of our sound and rhythm in their lives.;본 연구의 목적은 중학교 1학년 학생들을 위하여 STAD 협동학습 이론을 적용한 해금창작곡 감상수업 지도안을 개발하는 데 있다. 음악교육 분야에서 국악의 중요성은 날로 높아지고 있고 그 영역 또한 확장되고 있다. 이처럼 국악의 영역이 점차 강조되고 있지만 음악수업에서 국악을 쉽고 재미있게 다루기는 쉽지 않다. 그러므로 국악을 처음 접하거나 낯설어 하는 교사와 학생들에게는 쉽고 긍정적으로 다가갈 수 있는 장점을 지닌 창작국악 교육이 필요하다. 그러나, 현재 사용 중인 2009개정 교육과정 중학교 음악교과서에서 창작 기악곡은 가장 낮은 비중을 차지하고 있고 주로 감상영역에 치우쳐있으며 악보, 학습목표, 곡해설, 활동 등이 적절하게 제시되어 있지 않았다. 게다가, 중학생 또는 고등학생을 대상으로 하는 창작 기악곡에 대한 수업자료와 수업전략도 부족한 실정이다. 그렇기 때문에, 실제 현장에서의 창작국악 감상수업은 학생들이 흥미를 느끼기 어려운 방법으로 진행될 수밖에 없으며, 이러한 수업은 국악에 대해 지루함을 느끼고 부정적인 인식이 자리 잡을 수 있으므로 창작국악에 대한 감상수업의 재검토가 반드시 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구를 위해, 2009개정 중학교 음악과 교과서에 수록된 창작 기악곡과 그 내용을 분석하였고 해금창작곡 중 김영재의 ‘조명곡’과 이성천의 ‘쥐구멍에 볕들었어도’를 제재곡으로 선정하여 지도안을 개발하였다. 그리고 선행연구와 문헌자료를 분석하여 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 본 지도안은 협동학습을 교수법으로 선택하여 다양한 협동학습 이론과 음악과 협동학습 모형을 분석하고 음악과 STAD 협동학습 모형을 개발하였고 최종적으로 ‘음악과 STAD 협동학습 모형을 적용한 해금창작곡 감상수업 지도안’을 개발하였다. 수업 지도안은 총 7차시로, 1-4차시는 ‘조명곡’을 제재곡으로 하였고 5-7차시는 ‘쥐구멍에 볕들었어도’를 제재곡으로 하여 개발하였다. 수업 내용은 5단계의 음악과 STAD 협동학습 모형을 적용하여 ‘음악과제 및 대상선정, 목표제시, 교사의 설명, 모둠학습, 모둠 점수의 게시와 보상’으로 이루어진다. 모둠학습은 역할분담, 교사의 설명, 소집단 활동, 평가로 진행되며, 이해·토론·감상·창작·작곡·발표·평가 등의 활동이 포함되어 있다. 또한, 본 지도안은 차시별로 진단평가, 활동지, 발표평가 활동지, 개별 퀴즈 평가지, PPT의 학습 자료를 포함하고 있다. 본 연구의 지도안은 현직 음악 교사 3인에게 설문조사를 통해 내용타당도 검증을 받았다. 설문지 문항은 선택형 10문항과 서술형 2문항의 총 12문항으로 구성하였고 선택형 문항의 응답 결과, Likert 척도 5점 만점에서 총 평점 4.701을 나타내었다. 이를 통해, 개발된 지도안의 내용 및 구성이 타당하며, 실제 학교 현장에 적용하기 적합하다는 결론이 도출되었다. 서술형 문항 중 장단점을 묻는 문항에서 3인의 음악교사는 총 8가지 장점과 1가지 단점으로 답변하여 전반적으로 긍정적인 응답을 하였고, 3인의 음악교사는 본 지도안에 대해 교사의 역할과 역량이 중요하며 실제 수업에서 평가단계를 항상 확인하는 것이 필요하다고 제언하였다. 본 연구는 창작국악 감상수업에 대한 재검토를 통해 새로운 감상수업 전략으로 음악과 STAD 협동학습을 적용한 해금창작곡 감상수업 지도안 및 수업자료를 개발하고 제시함으로써 수업전략 부재의 해결 실마리를 제공한다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. 본 연구에서 개발된 지도안이 실제 교육 현장에서 효과적인 창작국악 수업에 도움이 될 수 있기를 바라며, 다양한 교수법에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져서 학생들이 긍정적이고 국악에 대한 흥미를 가질 수 있는 국악수업을 경험하고 국악에 대한 인식 개선이 이루어지길 기대한다.
