다문화 가정 초등학생 자녀를 위한 의성어·의태어 교육용 애플리케이션 개발 기초 연구

Abstract

This research is for realizing application which is for educating elementary school student from multicultural families. This application is especially for educating onomatopoeia and mimetic words. Onomatopoeia is idiomatic expression which is related to sounds. Also mimetic words are idiomatic expression which is related to movement. So, studying these words through only books are difficult to understand. Students need not only sound system but also visual materials. If students use application when they study onomatopoeia and mimetic words, they could understand what they are studying. With application, they can watch the mimetic words and hear the onomatopoeia. This application is for elementary school student from multicultural families, as onomatopoeia and mimetic words are cultured launguage, so they are effective for learn Korean culture and customs. Besides, multicultural children have a mother who is from foreign countries, so they can not learn Korean cultured words from their mother. It means they have to study Korean by themselves after school. Therefore, in this study, I discuss about the application as a learning tools which can facilitate self-study. At first, to make onomatopoeia and mimetic words list, I analyze Korean books which is used in elmentary school. From 1st to 6th grade, each grade have main book1,2 and practicing book1,2. So I analyze 24 books. After analyzing these books, I choose some research about list of onomatopoeia and mimetic words. After that I synthesize these lists, and make end list for elementary school student. Secondly, I analyze 6 applications of education. These lists are included not only Korean applications but also English applications. I analyze their functions and systems to make effective application for educating. At last, I make application screen with picture to show how this application educate Korean onomatopoeia and mimetic words.;본 연구는 다문화 가정 초등학생 자녀들을 대상으로 한 의성어와 의태어 학습용 모바일 애플리케이션을 구현하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 의성어와 의태어는 소리와 동작을 표현한 어휘이기 때문에 교재로만 학습 할 경우 학습에 어려움을 겪을 수 있다. 애플리케이션을 통해 단순한 사전적 의미와 설명만으로 이해하기 어려웠던 어휘들을 음성과 영상 자료를 통해 효과적으로 학습 할 수 있게 된다면 학습자들이 보다 쉽게 이해할 수 있을 것이라는 점에 착안하여 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구에서 개발 할 애플리케이션의 학습 대상자를 다문화 가정의 초등학생 자녀로 제한하였는데, 이는 의성어와 의태어가 성인 학습자들에게도 중요하지만, 언어체계를 다지는 초등학생 시절에 의성어와 의태어를 익힘으로써 한국의 문화와 관습을 함께 익힐 수 있다고 판단하였기 때문이다. 또한 다문화 가정 자녀들의 경우 결혼해서 이주 해 온 외국인 어머니들이 대부분이기 때문에 문화가 반영 된 의성어와 의태어를 자녀에게 교육하기 어렵다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 부모님의 도움 없이 자녀 혼자서도 학습 할 수 있는 의성어·의태어 애플리케이션을 개발하고자 하였다. 애플리케이션에 수록 될 의성어와 의태어의 목록을 선정하기 위해 초등학교 1~6학년의 국어와 국어생활 교과서 24권을 분석하였고, 현재까지 논의 되어 온 한국어 의성어·의태어 교육 목록들을 참고하여 최종 목록을 선정하였다. 또한 출시되어 있는 교육용 애플리케이션들 중 몇을 선정하여 의성어·의태어를 교육하는 데에 효과적인 기술적 요소들을 분석하였다. 분석 한 요소들을 토대로 실제 애플리케이션에 수록 될 기능들을 알아보고 그림 자료를 통해 이를 화면으로 구현 해 보기까지의 연구를 진행하였다.
