창의적 체험활동 프로그램 개발을 위한 초등학교 3 · 4학년 합창수업지도안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 초등학교 학생들을 대상으로 생성적 음악교수이론을 적용한 창의적 체험활동 합창 수업 프로그램을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2009 개정 교육과정의 창의적 체험활동에 대한 이해와 학교 합창교육의 실태 및 문제점에 대한 문헌연구를 거쳐 창의적 체험활동에서 합창교육을 통해 나타날 수 있는 기대효과에 대하여 조사하였고, 수업지도안에 적용하기 위해 창의적 체험활동의 목표와 음악교육의 성격을 모두 충족시킬 수 있는 보드만(E. Boardman)의 생성적 음악교수이론에 대하여 알아보았다. 수업지도안은 총 6차시로 합창을 위한 각 차시별 다양한 활동을 구성하여 하나의 합창곡을 완성할 수 있도록 하였다. 수업내용은 제재곡 ‘푸른 세상 만들기’를 부분 2부 합창하기 위해 감상하기, 노래하기, 그림·신체 표현하기, 발표 및 평가하기 순으로 생성적 교수이론의 인지적 과정 순서대로 활동할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 수업지도안 및 교수·학습 자료는 경기도의 Y초등학교 3·4학년을 대상으로 연구자가 직접 수업시연을 하였으며, 7년 이상의 경력을 가진 교사 6명이 수업을 참관 후 수업자료 평가용 설문지를 통해 검증하였다. 또한 수업시연이 끝난 후 총평회를 통해 수업참관 및 설문에 임한 교사 6명의 조언과 설문결과를 토대로 수업자료를 수정 및 보완하였다. 설문결과 본 수업지도안은 학습목표 설정 및 학습내용, 학습자의 수준고려, 교수·학습자료 활용 등이 적절하였으나, 감상영역에 대한 부분이 구체적으로 제시되는 것이 필요하다는 의견이 나와 감상영역에서 일반 곡이 아닌 제재곡에 대한 감상으로, 그리고 창작물을 그냥 감상하는 것이 아닌 수업 전·후 합창음악 비교감상활동으로 수정·보완하였다. 이를 통한 연구의 결과로 창의적 체험활동 합창 프로그램은 창의적 체험활동의 목적에 부합하면서 음악교과에서 부족한 활동에 대한 보충을 통해 학생들의 음악적 개념 이해 및 합창을 할 수 있는 연주능력향상에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 창의적 체험활동의 합창 프로그램이 초등학교 학생들의 음악적 능력을 길러 줄 수 있으며, 합창에 대한 이해, 협동심, 전인적 성장 등의 발달 및 음악수업의 질을 향상시킨다는 데에 의의가 있다.;This study is intended to develop a creative experience activity program for elementary school students by applying the 'generative theory of musical learning.' To accomplish the objective, the following were carried out. First, a literature study was conducted to explore the creative experience activities of 2009 Revised Curriculum and school chorus education, including its issues. Second, the potential benefits of chorus education in the creative experience activities were identified. Third, 'Boardman's generative theory of musical learning,' which can satisfy the objectives of the activities and music education, was studied to apply it to the lesson plan. The lesson plan consists of six sessions, each of which has diverse activities to complete a chorus. To sing the musical piece ‘Creating a green world’ as a partial duet, the following were carried out: listening to the song; singing; drawing and physical expression; presentation; evaluation. The activities are in line with the cognitive process introduced by the generative theory of musical learning. The lesson plan and teaching and learning materials developed by this study were used to give a class to 3rd and 4th graders of Y Elementary School in Gyeonggi-do. It was observed by six teachers with over 7 years of teaching experience. The lesson plan and teaching and learning materials were examined through their survey; a questionnaire on class material evaluation was used. After the class, a general review was performed to revise and improve the class materials, based on the feedback from the teachers. According to the survey, the following aspects of the lesson plan were appropriate: learning objectives; learning content; the fit with the level of students; teaching and learning material utilization. However, it was suggested that the music appreciation (listening to the song) should be explained in more detail. Thus, a musical piece was chosen instead of an ordinary song. Also, the activity was revised as follows: chorus appreciation and comparison before and after the class, instead of just listening to it. The findings suggest the following. The creative experience activity program meets the purpose of the activities and provide more activities lacking in music class. Thus, the program can enhance the musical understanding and performance capability of students. This study is significant in that the chorus program of creative experience activities can improve the musical capabilities of elementary school students. Also, the chorus program enhances their understanding of chorus, sense of cooperation, holistic development, and the quality of music class.
