집단 내 개인의 심리적 변형에 대한 목회상담적 적용 가능성

Abstract

본 논문은『집단심리학과 자아분석』에서 집단 내 개인이 자아발달 과정에서 어떤 정신적인 변화를 겪는지에 대해서 심리학적으로 설명하려는 프로이트의 이론과 관점을 해명하였고, 그의 이론과 관점의 현실적 의미와 가치를 목회상담학적인 차원에서 확인하고자 하였다. 이 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 본 논문은 우선 주제와 관련된 프로이트 저서들과 특히 『집단심리학과 자아분석』을 집중적으로 탐구하였다. 더 나아가 집단심리학 이전 프로이트의 자아에 대한 이해뿐만 아니라, 사회학적 측면에서 집단 심리에 대한 이해를 위해 문헌학적으로 폭넓게 연구를 하였다. 그 다음으로 본 논문은 이론적 고찰로부터 파악된 프로이트의 집단심리 이론에 따라 설문을 개발하였다. 마지막으로 프로이트의 집단심리 이론에 대한 타당성을 검증하기 위해 본 논문은 집단 내 정서적 유대 관계 구조를 중심으로 개발된 설문조사를 시행함으로써 현실적인 교회집단의 정서적 유대의 실태를 파악하고자 하였다. 본 논문은 ‘집단 내 정서적 유대관계에서 변형되는 프로이트적 자아 이해’에 대한 고찰로부터 집단과 개인을 이해할 수 있는 몇 가지 중요한 인식들을 얻을 수 있었다. 우선, 집단 내 개인에 대한 프로이트의 분석은 개인을 하나의 독립된 대상으로만 보고, 그를 이해하고자 했던 기존의 개인심리학적인 접근의 한계를 지적하고, 개인에 대한 분석적 이해뿐만 아니라, 그의 정신적 변화에 영향을 미치는 집단적 영향에 대한 이해 또한 필요함을 잘 보여주었다. 둘째로, 집단 내 개인의 긍정적인 변화 가능성을 부정하는 사회심리학적인 입장과는 달리, 프로이트의 정신분석학적 입장은 집단 속의 개인이 겪는 정신적인 변화에 대해 심리학적으로 설명함으로써 집단 심리의 실재(집단의 정서적 관계구조)를 해명하였고, 이를 통해 필자는 집단 내 개인 자아의 다양한 변화가능성을 이해할 수 있었을 뿐만 아니라, 그를 성숙하게 변화시킬 수 있는 건전한 집단정신의 유형 또는 모델을 파악할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 본 논문은 집단 내 개인의 다양한 변화 가능성에 대한 다양한 모델들과 프로이트적 집단이론을 기반으로 작성된 설문조사를 통해 교회 집단의 집단현상과 성도의 정서적 유대관계의 실태에 접근할 수 있었다. 설문조사의 분석결과로부터 본 연구는 두 가지 요점을 확인하였다. 하나는 프로이트의 집단이론과 관점은 몇몇 점에서 불가피한 수정이 요구되지만 여전히 현실적인 교회집단의 정서적 관계의 실태를 이해하는데 상당히 유용하다는 것이고, 다른 하나는 개인 상담에서 집단 상담으로 연구와 실천의 초점을 변경시키려는 목회상담에게 시대적 요청에 부합하여 집단의 정서적 유대구조를 심층적으로 볼 수 있는 하나의 중요한 시각을 제공한다는 점이다.;This study aims to elucidate Freud's group theory and viewpoint, and explain psychologically their real validity in the dimension of the pastoral counseling. In “Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego” asserts Freud that a individual in group experiences his or her mental change in the process of ego development. To achieve this research objective searched this study intensively for Freud's works, especially “Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego”, which was be published by Internationaler Psychoanalytischer Verlag 1921. Futhermore, this study grasped the real status of member's emotional relatedness in church through questionnaire survey that was drawn according to Freud's group theory and viewpoint. This study was able to gain a few sights to understand a individual in group from research on Freud's view that a individual ego experiences the mental change through the influence of emotional relatedness in group. Firstly, Freud's analysis of a individual in group exposed the methodological limit of the individual psychology that regards a individual in group as a independent object and tries to understand him or her irrelevant to the emotional relatedness in group. Futhermore, Freud pointed to the necessity to understand the essence of emotion in group that have a decisive effect on his or her mental change. Secondly, in contrast with the social psychology disapproving of the positive changeability of the individual in group, Freud's psychoanalytical position exposed the reality of member's emotional relatedness in group by explaining psychologically the diverse mental changeability of the individual in group. Thus this study understood not only his diverse changeability, but grasped also the types or models of sound group that can transmute a individual in group into a independent and original being. lastly, from the analysis result of the questionnaire survey ascertained this study the real state that the actual church is the leader centered group and that members in church are influenced strongly by the leader and can experience simultaneously the mental change according to the emotional relatedness in group.
