K-POP 댄스의 변신공간에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 춤의 변신공간이란 개념을 제시하고, K-POP 댄스에서 나타나는 변신공간을 분석하고 그 의미를 도출하는 것이다. 변신공간은 들뢰즈의 리좀이 제시하는 해체, 접속, 생성, 변신이 이루어지는 공간이자, 굿의 무감서기 현상에서 나타나는 주체와 객체의 경계가 무너지고 존재간의 되기가 이루어지는 사이공간이자, 라반의 역동공간에서와 같이 춤에 의해 새로운 시공간이 형성되는 공간이다. 이와 같은 변신공간이 K-POP 댄스에서 어떻게 작동하고 있는지를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, K-POP 댄스는 유사한 콘셉트와 가수들의 중복과 반복 속에서 작고 구체적인 차이를 발생시키며 새로운 의미를 생성하고 있다. 여성그룹의 섹시 콘셉트나 남성 그룹의 칼군무는 계속해서 반복되는 콘셉트이지만, 그 안에서 모방과 단순 반복이 아닌 강도의 차이와 새로운 의미화가 발생한다. 즉, K-POP 댄스에서 하나의 콘셉트는 고정된 이미지나 움직임에 갇히지 않고 계속 변신중인 의미의 변신공간을 형성한다. 둘째, K-POP 댄스는 다양체에서 기존의 구조가 무너지고 접속이 새롭게 일어날 때 새롭게 형성되는 관계를 통해 변신을 일으킨다. 유튜브 공간에서는 가수와 대중간의 춤추기와 춤보기의 관계가 뒤바뀌고, 안무 동작에서는 음악과 움직이는 몸의 관계 속에서 새로운 시공간이 생성되며, 음악과 춤의 리듬 관계를 통해 음악이 춤이 되고 춤이 음악이 되는 변신도 발견된다. 이상의 결과, K-POP 댄스 변신공간으로부터 도출된 의미는 춤을 둘러싼 다양체들의 관계성 속에서 춤의 새로운 의미와 움직임이 생성된다는 점, 그 생성은 하나의 원리로 귀속되지 않고 다양한 가능성의 상태로 열려 있다는 점이다. 다시 말해 K-POP 댄스는 고정된 양식을 가지지 않고 매번 접속되는 음악, 춤, 가수, 대중, 기획, 콘셉트, 영상, 패션, 미디어 등의 다양체들이 빠르고 유연하게 상호작용 중인 춤현상이라고 볼 수 있다. 결론적으로 K-POP 댄스의 변신공간은 춤을 둘러싼 다양체들의 관계가 붕괴되고 접속을 통해 새롭게 형성되는 변신과 생성의 공간으로, 그 접속 가능성만큼 변신공간은 증폭되고 끊임없이 작동한다. 이와 같이 춤과 인간에 내재된 변신의 무한한 잠재성을 발견하는데 본 논문의 의의가 있으며, K-POP을 통해 동시대 춤과 인간의 관계에 대한 관점을 제시한다.;The purpose of this study is to present the concept of ‘Transformosphere’ in dance, and to analyse the function and the implications of Transformosphere in K-POP dance. Transformosphere is a space where disjunction, conjunction, creation, transformation occur, which presented by Deleuze’s Rhizome. It is a space where borderline between subject and object are collapsed and becoming occurs, which appeared in Mugamsugi of Gut, or Korean exorcism. Also, it is a space where new spatial-temporal forms by dance as it is in Dynamosphere of Laban. The results of the study on how Transformosphere works in K-POP dance are as follows. First, K-POP dance creates new meanings by making subtle and specific differences among those singers’ similar, repeated, or overlapped concepts. Although girl groups’ sexy concept or boy groups’ precision group choreography is being repeated, they creates the differences of magnitude and new meanings, which are not simple copies or repeats. In other words, K-POP dance forms preferable Transformoshpere, which is not fixed by sexy images or movements, but is continually changing. Second, K-POP dance is transformed by new relationships, which is formed when new contacts occur after breaking up old connections in those manifolds. In Youtube, the roles between singers’ dancing and mass’ dance watching are exchanged. In choreography, new spatial-temporal area is created through the relationships between music and movements. Through the relationships between music and dance rhythm, a transformation was observed such as music becomes dance, and dance becomes music. The implications of Transformosphere in K-POP dance are as follows: New meaning and movements are created by the relationships among manifolds in dance. The creation does not follow one fundamental but open to the infinite possibilities. In other words, K-POP dance is a phenomenon which does not have one fixed formation but has flexibility to contact with music, dance, singer, public, producing, concept, visual stuff, fashion, media and so on faster. Transformosphere of K-POP dance is a space of transformation and creation formed by new contacts after the collapse of the relationships among those differences surrounded by dance. Therefore, the process of Transformosphere can be amplified as much as the number of contact chances among Manifolds. This study signifies discovery of infinite potential of transformation, which is embodied in dance and human. It is expected to contribute to continuing further studies about K-POP dance.
