Ernest Chausson의 “Poème for Violin and Piano Opus 25”에 대한 분석연구

Abstract

In this thesis, the whole structure and the "Cyclic Form" composing technique of the <Poème for Violin and Piano, Opus 25> of Ernest Chausson were studied. <Poème> is a long solo movement which has the contrast between Lento e misterioso and Animato and also it can be sectioned specifically by beat, tempo, direction. Every part has the theme what has the variation form and it is repeated in each part. These are based on the Franck's "Cyclic Form" which has the origin of the French. <Poème> has the various tempo change and even though the whole tonality is Eb Major, the tonality become weak by chromatic progress, various modulation and so on. Moreover, irregular tune changes make the modified·developed·splitted rhythm consistently and using wide range in the piano or violin makes the repeated arch structure motive. This thesis would like to be a good model what show the new direction to students who try to study E. Chausson and the French music and it also help them understand the his musical perspective, characteristic and the composing technique by the analysis with the deep depth.;본 논문은 Ernest Chausson의 <Poème for Violin and Piano, Opus 25>의 전체적인 형식 및 구조를 살펴보고 이 곡에 사용된 '순환 형식'의 작곡 기법을 찾아보고자 하였다. 또한 세분화한 각 부분별로 중요한 Motive의 변형, 발전, 반복된 멜로디 라인을 찾아 정리하여 그것들의 형식, 조성, 박자, 악상, 화성 등을 연구 및 분석하였다. <Poème>은 Lento e misterioso와 Animato의 대비가 두드러지는 단악장의 긴 작품이다. 하지만 박자, 템포, 지시어로 형식이 더 세세하게 구분되어지며 전체적인 구조는 A+B+A'+B'+Coda의 5개 부분으로 이루어져 있다. 각각의 부분마다 주제가 발전되어 변주형식으로 반복되는 것이 특징이며 이것은 ‘프랑스적 기원’을 갖은 프랑크의 ‘순환 형식’을 기초로 하였다. 박자는 3/4→6/8→3/4→6/8→3/4의 변화를 갖는다. 전체적인 화성은 Eb Major이지만 반음계적 진행과 다양한 전조(Eb Major→Gb Major→b minor→Eb Major) 등을 통해 조성이 약화되는 특징이 있다. 종지에 있어서는 반종지, 위종지, 피카르디 종지를 사용하였다. 선율에 있어서는 아치형 구조의 모티브와 전위 형태의 아치형 선율구조가 나타나고, 불규칙한 음정 변화를 주면서 지속적으로 변형·발전·분할된 리듬이 형성되어 빠르게 진행된다. 또한 피아노 또는 바이올린에서 넓은 음역을 사용하 여 동시적·지속적·연속적으로 단편적인 아치형 구조의 Motive가 반복 및 발전된다. 위와 같이 쇼송은 본인만의 독특한 기법을 가지고 있는 매우 중요한 작곡가임에도 불구하고 국내에서는 그의 작품에 관한 연구가 매우 미진하다. 본 논문은 <Poème for Violin and Piano, Opus 25>을 연구·분석함으로써 쇼송의 음악 세계, 음악적 특징 및 작곡 기법을 보다 잘 이해하고 앞으로 쇼송과 더불어 프랑스 음악을 배우고자 하는 학생들에게 새로운 방향을 제시해주는 모델이 되고자 한다.
