Abstract

This textbook focuses on exposing Young Learners (YLs) to art-based communicative activities in the Korean EFL setting. The artwork that has been specially designed for YLs will not only help develop and enhance their artistic skills, but will also provide meaningful opportunities to practice the language they have been learning in their private English kindergarten classes. Considering the nature of art classes, this textbook may have more listening activities than others, but in order to create communicative lessons, there are also activities involving student speaking and writing.
