고든의 음악학습이론을 적용한 해금 수업 지도안 개발

Abstract

우리 문화에 대한 이해를 위해 전통음악의 교육의 필요성이 음악교육의 목표에 계속적으로 대두되고 있으며 이로 인해 가창, 기악, 감상영역을 통해 전통음악의 교육이 이루어지고 있다. 그 중 기악영역의 경우 단소, 소금과 같은 관악기의 기악교육이 이루어졌고 이에 따른 교육 연구들도 많았다. 본 연구자는 한 걸음 더 나아가 세계음악과 접목 가능한 해금과 같은 악기도 교육현장에서 기악영역으로 가르쳐진다면 국악교육의 저변에 더 도움이 되리라 본다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 해금기초교육에 필요한 지도법을 고든의 음악학습이론 중 음악학습위계에 근거한 수업지도안을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 Ⅱ장에서는 고든의 음악학습이론과 해금의 연주법에 관한 이론을 살펴보았다. Ⅲ장에서는 해금 수업지도안 개발을 위해 고든의 음악학습위계에 따라 수업에 맞는 학습위계를 구성하고 내용연계학습과 기술연계학습의 기본내용(틀)을 구성하였다. 본 수업지도안의 목표는 학습자가 해금의 기초지식이 전무한 상태에서 해금의 기초교육을 통해 해금의 연주 실력 향상에 있으며 수업대상은 초등학교 5⦁6학년 대상으로 해금기초연주법 습득을 위한 악곡과 2007 개정 음악교과서 수록곡 중 3곡을 선정하였다. 본 수업지도안은 총 13차시 중 고든의 음악학습이론을 적용한 수업지도안은 11차시로 제시하였고 12차시와 13차시는 발표를 위한 차시로 제외하였다. 고든의 음악학습이론의 음악학습위계를 바탕으로 수업내용과 활동을 개발하였고 이를 적용한 수업지도안을 개발하였다. 본 수업지도안의 내용타당성과 현장 적용가능성을 검증하기 위해 초등학교 교사와 해금아동교육활동을 하는 해금강사 6명을 대상으로 설문을 하였다. 설문은 Likert 5점 척도에 따른 10개의 문항과 1개의 개방형 문항으로 구성하였다. 검증의 결과 교수⦁학습방법과 학습내용의 효과성이 높은 평가 결과를 얻었고 패턴학습활동의 유익성과 기술연계학습에 따른 수업구조에 있어서도 높은 평가 결과를 얻었다. 반면 흥미를 유도성과 현장적용에 있어서 수준별 학습에 대한 지도방법이 간과되었음을 지적되었으며 음악교과시간보다 방과 후 활동이나 창의적 체험활동 시간에 더 적합하다고 제안되었다. 이 연구를 통해 해금기초연주실력 향상에 적합한 교수⦁학습 과정으로 구성되어 중학교 프로그램을 개발되어지길 기대하고 음악교과수업으로 제한하기보다는 창의적 체험활동으로 확장된 영역에서 활용될 수 있는 해금지도법 연구가 이어지길 기대한다.;For deeper understanding of Korean culture, the importance of teaching traditional music has been continually highlighted in music education. Schools mainly offer traditional music classes in singing, listening, and instrument playing, particularly wind instruments such as Danso or Sogeum, which has been followed with various related researches. This paper proposes a teaching method for Haegeum with Danso and Sogeum, in that Haegeum is a well known instrument often played with other world music. The teaching method can make a positive contribution to Korean traditional music education. The purpose of this study is to develop a curriculum, which is necessary for the introduction to Haegeum teaching based on learning sequence activities of the Gordon Music Learning Theory. In chapter II, the Gordon Music Learning Theory and Haegeum playing techniques are demonstrated. In chapter III, learning sequence activities for Haegeum teachings are described, including discrimination learning and inference learning. The aim of the curriculum is to improve Haegeum skills of students who have no background knowledge or experience of Haegeum. The targeted subjects are 5th and 6th graders. The songs in this paper are selected among music for basic haegeum skills. Especially Three songs are selected from “Music Textbook 2007 edition.” This curriculum is comprised of 13 weeks. The lesson plans in the application of the Gordon Music Learning Theory to the case are planned for 11 weeks, and the subsequent class presentation will be followed for the remaining 2 weeks. In order to verify the validity and reliability of the paper, 6 of the primary school teachers and incumbent Haegeum instructors have been surveyed. The questionnaire includes 10 multiple choices and one open-ended question according to 5-point Likert scale. The result shows highly positive feedback about the effectiveness of teaching-learning methods and its contents. Benefits of pattern activities and skill inference learning structure also have received highly positive feedback. On the other hand, participants point out that methods for fun and different learning levels are not addressed, and that it seems to be more applicable to after school classes or creative activities rather than regular music classes. I hopes that this study can promote the development of more appropriate curriculums to improve the basic Haegeum skills and apply it in to the middle school education system, and that further research will continue in studying Haegeum teaching, not only be limited to regular classes but also used for creative activities.
