창의·인성 교육을 위한 뮤지컬 ‘캣츠’ 수업지도안 개발 및 적용

Abstract

이 연구는 고등학교 1학년을 대상으로 창의·인성 교육을 위한 뮤지컬 ‘캣츠’를 지도하는 수업지도안을 개발하고 적용하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 수업지도안에 해당학년 및 과목 교과내용의 적합성을 고려하여 ADDIE 모형의 연구절차로 연구를 진행하였다. 수업지도안은 총 4차시로 전 차시가 하나의 연계성을 지니고 있으며 모둠활동을 통해 뮤지컬을 이해하고 가창, 창작, 감상하는 활동을 포함한다. 각 차시마다 교과 학습목표와 더불어 창의·인성 학습목표가 존재하며 창의적인 교수학습방법을 사용하여 유창성, 민감성, 정교성, 독창성 등의 창의적 요소와 인성적 교수학습방법을 사용하여 참여와 협동, 공감과 수용, 소통, 자율과 책임, 판단력 등의 요소를 학습한다. 이 연구에서 개발된 수업지도안은 현직교사 3인의 전문가에게 수업자료 평가용 설문지를 통해 내용타당도를 검증하고 수정·보완된 결과를 본 연구자가 학생들에게 직접 수업을 함으로써 적합 여부를 판단하였다. 수업적용 대상은 경기도 일산에 소재한 J 고등학교 남녀 학생으로 두 반, 총 72명의 학생이 참여하였다. 연구의 결과물은 뮤지컬 ‘캣츠’를 주제로 하는 4차시 수업지도안으로 구체적 내용으로는 뮤지컬의 개념과 요소 이해, 뮤지컬 ‘캣츠’의 줄거리와 등장인물 파악, 등장인물과 나의 성격 비교, ‘캣츠’의 주요 곡 감상 및 가창, 가사 개사활동, 모둠별로 역할 나누어 뮤지컬의 한 장면 연출하기 등 이다. 4차시의 교수-학습 활동을 통해 학생들이 뮤지컬과 ‘캣츠’를 이해하고 자신을 돌아보며 교과 목표와 창의·인성 목표에 도달하도록 하였다. 연구결과의 분석은 학생 수업만족도 조사와 인터뷰, 본 연구자가 수업을 적용한 수업일지, 같은 학교의 음악교사가 관찰자로 수업에 참여하여 작성한 관찰일지를 토대로 이루어졌다. 수업적용 전 전문가 3인의 타당도 검증결과 평점 5.0만점에 4.6을 기록하여 현장의 적합 여부가 긍정적으로 나타났으며 전문가들의 의견 중 수정사항은 반영되었다. 또한 수업적용 후 학생의 수업만족도 결과와 연구자의 수업일지, 관찰자의 관찰일지를 분석하면 학생의 수업만족도는 Likert 척도에 의해 평가되었고 차시가 진행될 때마다 상승되어 마지막 차시에는 평점 4.68을 나타냈다. 이는 모둠활동을 통해 서로 소통하고 공감하는 요소와 자신의 생각을 표출하는 것에 대해 적응하고 흥미가 향상되어 음악 수업에 만족하기 때문이다. 따라서 개발된 수업지도안은 교육현장에 적용 가능하며 학생들의 음악적 동기를 유발하고 질적으로 높은 음악수업을 만드는 데 적합한 수업자료가 됨을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 학생들이 창의·인성 교육으로서 음악 교육적 능력을 신장시키기를 기대하며 교사들은 교육 현장에 적합한 창의·인성 교육을 실행하여 음악 교육이 한층 더 성숙되기를 기대한다.;The purpose of this research is to develop a lesson plan and material by utilizing creativity and personality education to the musical Cats for high school freshman. The research is based on the ADDIE(Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model by considering grade of students and appropriateness of curriculum contents. The lesson plan is comprised with total 4 classes which are associated to each other and includes group activities on understanding the musical, singing, listening, and writing lyrics. Each class has goals on learning and creativity-personality and the ground rule is to achieve both of them without any loss of academic discipline. The developed lesson plans and materials are supported by three professionals via evaluation questionnaire and further verified through classes. Participates are male and female students, total of 72, at J highschool in Ilsan Gyeonggi-do. As a result of the research, a 4 hour lesson plan and material of musical Cats is developed and it is applied to the curriculum of highschool freshmen. The lesson plan and material is consist of understanding elements, concepts, and synopsis, comparing my personality with the characters, listening, singing, writing lyrics, and performing scenes in groups of musical Cats. The lesson plan and material is programed for students to achieve the creativity-personality goals through 4 hour classes. The lesson plan is verified by evaluation questionnaire of student satisfaction survey and interviews, class records, and by observation note of music teacher at the highschool. The average evaluation point scored 4.6 over 5.0. Furthermore, the lesson plan and material is revised by the three professionals. Based on the Likert evaluation, the student satisfaction is reported as 4.68 points. The high score represents that the students has adapted to the group activity and it lead to the increase of interest to the music class. Therefore, the developed lesson plan and material is proven to be pertinent to motivate musical interests and enhance the quality of music classes. We expect this research to improve music creativity and personality education and lead to the enhancement of the quality.
