슬래쉬의 조형미를 응용한 패션디자인 연구

Abstract

현대와 같은 고도감성시대의 패션디자인은 빠른 트랜드의 변화 속에서 기능성, 창의성 뿐 아니라 섬세하고 세분화된 감성과 다양한 개성이 요구된다. 이러한 다변화 되는 시대에 인류의 역사 속에서 의복의 발자취는 패션디자인에 있어서 풍성한 영감원이 되고 있다. 패션의 역사는 조형의 역사와 맥을 같이 하면서 역사상 특별한 의복이 지니는 미적 가치를 조망하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 서구사회의 복식사에 나타났던 슬래쉬를 고찰하고 그 조형미를 분석하여 디자인의 모티프로 선택해 작품을 제안 하고자 한다. 즉, 슬래쉬가 지닌 기본적인 선적 조형미에 착안하되 이를 좀 더 창의적 방식으로 전개하여 독특한 조형적 면모를 디자인에 구현하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 슬래쉬 기법을 고찰하고 조형성을 분석하여 무한한 창의적 변용이 가능한 슬래쉬의 조형미를 응용하여 디자인에 접목하고 이를 작품으로 제안함으로써 패션디자인의 표현 영역을 확대함에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 연구방법으로는 슬래쉬의 개념과 정의, 종류와 특징에 대하여 관련된 단행본, 학위논문, 학술지 등을 통한 문헌연구와 인터넷, 패션 정보 사이트, 다양한 컬렉션 잡지 등을 통한 실증적 연구방법을 취하였다. 작품 제작에 있어서는 슬래쉬의 선의 길이, 방향, 반복성, 배열방법 등을 고려하여 다양한 소재에 실험 하였고 선의 율동성과 입체적인 효과를 올이 풀리지 않고 선적 조형미와 재질적 조형미를 동시에 독특하게 표출할 수 있는 메탈소재의 인조 가죽과 반투명 우레탄 소재를 선택하여 제작하였다. 작품 제작을 통한 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 슬래쉬 기법은 선의 경로와 길이, 방향, 배열과 구성방법에 따라 선적 조형미 뿐 아니라 재질적 조형미를 표출시킴을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 슬래쉬 기법의 선적 특성은 반복의 원리를 적용함에 따라 다양한 율동미를 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 슬래쉬 기법으로 인해 절개된 부분의 소재 표면에 부조적이고 장식적인 효과가 나타나 의상으로 제작 되었을 때 공간감과 부조적 조형미가 표현될 수 있었다. 넷째, 슬래쉬는 간단한 도구로 쉽게 연출되어 독창적 개성을 부여하고자 하는 현대패션디자인에 활용성이 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 다섯째, 슬래쉬는 소재의 종류에 따라 다양한 감각으로 연출 될 수 있어 패션디자인의 표현 영역을 확대할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 독창적이고 장식적 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 슬래쉬는 무한한 잠재력을 가진 미래 패션 산업에 있어 가장 기본적인 장식방법이자 최대한의 의미를 부여할 수 있는 기법임을 확인하였다. 따라서 소재와 슬래쉬 방법에 있어서 좀 더 다각적인 연구와 실험을 이어가는 후속연구를 기대하고자 한다.;Modernized fashion Design demands high in quality, gentrified, diversified and a lot more to its alterations. And the way of expressing those individuality becomes subdivided, developed also recreated. Thus, in these diverse ideas consist formation and its ideology within lines. The meaning of lines in fashion design is intensive positioning of dots becoming lines. And these lines become important composition of the cloth's silhouette and also considerably effective on the aesthetic quality. Therefore, this thesis proposes the method of diversity of designer's creativeness, to suggest the slash method that is drawn out with cuts on fabric, not the dimensional types like dying or sewing. It gives great possibilities on creating the forms in line. The method of researching on this thesis is to, establish the meaning of Slash and categorize the kinds and also on deeper research on aesthetic value on its formation in modern fashion designs. Thus, I researched on the diversities of line formation and analyzed the examples in Slash method applied in various objects and fashion. Furthermore, I experiment on the formative nature of slash, and to see how it motivates on the fabric materials. By producing the work, I considered the diversities on directions and balances on various materials. In hence, the metallic fake leather and unclear urethane material that its strand firmly stays with rhythmic senses and stereoscopic, was chosen to work on the piece. These are the finalized theory from the production of making work. First of all, the rhythmic senses and stereoscopic expression can be easily maximized when it combined with formative in lines. Second, by repeating one type of line on slash to compose in different directions create infinite forms on design. Forth, from its handicraft method on slash, it helps to create on fabric instantly, to express from modern style to artistic design in many ways. Last the fifth, the form of slit can be changes in different ways to create various types of silhouette. The slash method is the basic ideal for the future fashion design industry that can maximize the abilities on decoration and inventiveness. And it becomes the important motif by building the forms in line. For that reason, the diversities on slash method suggests the positive prospects in fashion design industry, correspondingly.
