Sergei Rachmaninoff 가곡 Op.38의 연구 및 분석

Abstract

라흐마니노프 (Sergei Vasil'evich Rachmaninoff, 1873-1943)는 세기의 전환기에 러시아 음악을 대표하는 작곡가 중 한 사람이다. 급격한 시대의 변화와 새로운 음악어법의 등장 속에서 그의 음악은 그 시기 다른 작곡가들의 작품과 달리 전통적인 낭만주의적 양식을 기초로 하였다. 이러한 그의 음악적 특징으로 인해 그의 작품에는 낭만주의에 기초한 아름다운 선율, 풍부한 화성적 색채와 조성진행이 나타나고 있으며 이로 인해 그의 음악은 오늘날 대중적으로 연주되고 사랑 받는 레퍼토리로 자리 매김하고 있다. 본 논문은 라흐마니노프의 가곡「Six Songs Op.38」“Ночью В саду у меня (어두운 밤 나의 정원에서)”, “К ней (그녀에게)”, “Маргаритки (데이지꽃)”, “Крысолов (쥐잡이꾼)”, “Сон (꿈)”, “АУ! (아우)” 에 대한 연구 분석이다. 이 곡들은 문학과 음악의 뛰어난 조화로 작곡되어 시의 내용에 충실하고, 서정적인 표현과 더불어 웅장하고 화려한 러시아적 요소도 함께 내재되어 있다. 이러한 것을 바탕으로 「Six Songs Op.38」를 세분화하여 연구한 결과를 요악하면, 제 1곡 “Ночью в саду у меня”은 러시아의 대표적인 상징주의 시인 이사악키안의 시 사용으로 흐느끼는 듯한 피아노 선율과 성악 선율의 조화를 이루고, 박자표를 사용하지 않아 리듬상의 자유로운 느낌을 주고 있다. 제 2곡 “К ней”은 연인을 기다리는 마음을 그린 노래로 빈번하고 급격한 전조를 통해 후기 낭만주의의 특징인 풍부한 화음과 음색을 표현하였다. 제 3곡 “Маргаритки”은 선율에 반음계 진행이 많고 트릴과 꾸밈음의 사용으로 이 곡의 화려함을 음악적인 요소로 보여주는 특징이 있다. 제 4곡 “Крысолов”은 과장적인 시를 통해 고독감과 풍자적인 에로티시즘을 강조한 노래이다. 곡에 나타나는 반주의 빠른 속도감과 반음계적 진행이 음악적 효과를 높이고 있다. 제 5곡 “Сон”의 낭만적인 선율은 ‘꿈’에 대한 동경과 열망을 나타내며 선율리듬에 3연음 중심으로, 반주에서는 거의 모든 마디에 지속음이 사용되고 있다. 제 6곡 “АУ!”는 6개의 가곡 중 음성적 효과를 극대화하기 위해 Op. 38 중에 빠르기의 변화가 잦은 곡이다. 라흐마니노프는 유명한 피아니스트였으며, 피아노곡으로 잘 알려져 있는 작곡가이다. 하지만 그의 가곡 작품 역시 피아노 곡 못지않은 아름다움과 독특한 개성을 가지고 있다. 83곡의 그의 가곡 작품과 합창곡은 그의 음악세계에서 중요한 역할을 차지하고 있으며 시와 노래. 피아노의 조화는 서정적이고 애수 어린 작곡가의 음악적 특징을 대변한다고 할 수 있다.;Rachmaninoff (Sergei Vasil'evich Rachmaninoff, 1873-1943) is one of the composers who are representative of the Russian music at the turn of the century. Amid the changes with the sudden times and the emergence of a new musical grammar, his music was based on the traditional romantic-liberal form, unlike the works of other composers at that time. Because of these characteristics of his music, beautiful romantic melodies based on romanticism, rich harmonic colors, and composition progression. This allowed his music to be established as the repertoire loved by the public today. In line with this, this study mainly deals with Op.38 “Ночью В саду у меня (In My Garden at Night)”, “К ней (To Her)”, “Маргаритки (Daisies)”, “Крысолов (Ratcatcher)”, “Сон (A Dream)”, “АУ! (Ah-Oo).” This work is the one played as part of the performance for the author’s graduation. This work consisting of a total of 6 pieces is faithful to the content of the poem as the songs were composed with an exceptional blend of literary and music In this work, lyrical expressions are inherent along with Russias magnificent and colorful elements. To sum up the results of his songs by refining them based on the above findings, “Ночью в саду у меня” No. 1 shows the harmony of sobbing-likely piano melodies and vocal melodies by using the poem of Isakian, one of Russian representative poets in symbolism. This song gives us a free feeling in rhythm with the time signature not used. “К ней” No. 2 is a song where ones’ feeling of waiting for a lover has been expressed. It attempted to express rich harmonies and voices, which are the characteristics of late romanticism, through frequent and rapid prognostics. “Маргаритки” No.3 is a lovely song to sing flowers. This song is a romantic song whose completeness has been made further in Rachmaninoff's musical techniques Especially, this piece features the frequent chromatic melodic progression in melody and the use of trills and ornaments to express the splendidness as a musical element. “Крысолов” No. 4 is a song composed to emphasize the loneliness and satirical eroticism through exaggerated poetry. The fast speed and chromatic progression of the accompaniment appearing in this song enhances musical effects. The romantic melody in “Сон” No. 5 expresses to the admiration and desire for ‘Dream’ In accompaniment, drones are used in almost measures centered around 3 notes. “АУ!” No. 6 is a song where the change of tempo is frequent to maximize the voice effect, compared to other five pieces. Rachmaninoff was a famous pianist and a well-known composer for a number of his piano pieces. But his songs also have their beauty and unique personality as much as his piano pieces. His songs consisting of 83 pieces and choral works play an important role in his musical world. In addition, the harmony between poetry and songs represents the musician’s musical characteristics, which are lyrical and melancholy.
