Chopin Ballade No.3 Op.47의 형식적 고찰

Abstract

시와 성악의 장르였던 발라드는 19세기 초 쇼팽(Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin, 1810-1849)에 의해 기악 음악에 도입되었다. 쇼팽은 1831년부터 1842년까지 4개의 발라드를 작곡하였는데 모두 폴란드의 애국 시인인 미키에비치 (Adam Mickiewicz, 1798~1855)의 시에서 영향을 받은 것으로 미키에비치의 시를 그대로 묘사한 것은 아니며, 시의 줄거리를 표현한다기보다는 단지 시에서 받은 영감을 독창적인 구사력으로 자유로운 이미지로 나타낸 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그 중, Op.47 in A♭Major는 6/8박자로 자유로운 형식을 띄며 4곡 중 가장 경쾌하고 우아한 프랑스풍의 정취가 느껴진다. 이 작품은 멜로디와 리듬 면에서 주제를 반복, 변형, 확장 등의 방법으로 자유롭고 다양하게 발전시키면서 곡의 통일성을 잃지 않는다. 또한, 각 주제들은 우아하고 서정적인 면에서부터 역동적이며 영웅적인 면까지 발전하면서 음악 안에서 폭넓은 표현기법을 보여준다. 본 논문에서는 쇼팽의 피아노 음악에서 나타나는 특징과 그 특징이 Op.47 에서는 어떻게 나타나고 있는지 살펴볼 것이며 고전 소나타 형식, 2부 형식, 아치형식 총 3가지 형식에 의거하여 분석할 것이다. ;This thesis aims at analyzing how a ballade is formed and how Fryderyk Francisz다 Chopin builds up his own unique music. Through this thesis you can get some help to understand and perform ballad Op. 47, No.3 better. In the early 19th century, the ballade which was the genre of vocal music was introduced by chpin as the piano music. Chopin composed 4 ballades from 1831 to 1842. Of which, Op.47 is a free-form, comparatively and it is most felt in the mood light and elegant French style. The themes in the melody and the rhythm are developed as not losing unity. Moreover, each themes are elegant and lyrical. In chapter two we can see the character of the Chopin's piano music in Op. 47 which has chromatic scale, changed the keys often, rich sound, tempo rubato, arpeggio style of accompaniment and effective pedalling. The author deals with this composition from the angle of sonata form, two-part form and five-part form. By analyzing this ballade as having these forms, this paper tries to add new viewpoints useful in interpreting various features of this piece. This piece has its own logic, and is an arganized way, even while each section is entangled.
