25현 가야금 협주곡 <능소화> 분석 연구

Abstract

This study is composed of 25 string gayageum Concerto Lee Jun Ho < Neung so wha> to be analyzed by focusing on melody gayageum. To analyze this song, I studied about composer's music idea and world of art work and examined about explanation of his work and structure of music. This study is analysed the melody and technique by dividing into each paragraph. This song is composed a total of 237 bars and portion of A - O is separated into 15 paragraph by tempo, beat and bar. The first portion A paragraph and second portion of B paragraph are explained based on melody analysis and beats. And there are the third portion of C∼I paragraph and fourth portion of J∼O paragraph. So, there are 4 portions in this song. The melody analysis for each paragraph is as below.

First, A paragraphs is this song of the Intro and theme. Melodic of the song appeared in Cadenza and the wide spacing of the ascending and descending melodic progression. The composer's musical expression and melodic flow can be shown in this paragraph. Second, B paragraph is 8/12 of the beat as fast as ♩ = 60. It can be expressed the feel of light rhythmical music and beautiful feeling like red blooming of Neung so wha through cross-emphasizing melody with orchestral and volume expansion. Third, C∼I paragraph have seven paragraph and a total of 4/4 ♩ = 72 tempo. This paragraph expressed the image of Neung so wha in wind blowing through change of melody reduction and varying the expansion. Also, the repetition of harmonic sense represented the unity and stability. In addition, this expressed the gorgeous image of blooming of stem and leaves of Neung so wha. Fourth, J∼O paragraph is a total of six and 12/8 time, ♩ = 50 is the tempo. This part is showed that the Neung so wha has suffered hardship and adversity, but finally a quick look at the beautiful flowers bloom. Time of peaks 3 shows the deployment of fermate rhythm and orchestral accompaniment and Solo Gayageum tune with each other interactively and receive configuration shown. In addition, to reduce the melody of the song by repeating arrangement the song gives a sense of stability and unity Neung so wha blooming again like to express was waiting. 25 string gayageum concerto <Neung so wha> can be divided into traditional style and modern style. First, the tradition play style in jeon sun, succession bounce, nurugi playing, pick up the string playing, pluck the string playing, con sordino to play six were used. Second, the modern play style are pick the string, chord, staccato, play the string, double stop, arpeggio, glissando, con sordino to play six were used. Traditional play style and modern play style can be represented the right effect according to song styles. And these styles also can be expressed the composer's intention. In the 25 string gayageum concerto <Neung so wha> is divided by a piece of music for each paragraph which expressed the image of flower's blooming and falling. This song can give the sense of unity and stability through the repetition of melodic rhythm and tune. As for technique, traditional style and modern style are used evenly. As a result, it made a effect of sound and feeling only for 25 string gayageum.;본 연구는 이준호 작곡 25현 가야금 협주곡 <능소화>를 가야금 선율 중심으로 분석한 것이다. 이 곡을 분석하기 위해 작곡자의 음악관과 작품세계를 알아보았고 작품해설과 악곡 구조, 조현법에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리고 단락별로 나누어 각 단락의 선율과 연주법에 대해 분석하였다. 이 곡은 총 237마디로 구성되어 있으며 박자, 빠르기, 마디에 따른 결과로 A-O단락까지 15단락으로 구분된다. 선율분석에서 박자를 기준으로 A단락을 한 부분, B단락을 한 부분, C단락부터 I단락까지 일곱 단락을 한 부분, J단락부터 O단락까지 여섯 단락을 한 부분으로 하여 총 네 부분으로 나눌 수 있다. 단락별 선율분석을 정리하면 다음과 같다.

첫째, A단락은 Cadenza로 곡의 주제선율이 등장하며 음의 상행과 하행 선율진행을 통해 작곡자의 음악적 표현을 나타내고 곡의 선율 흐름을 보여주고 있다. 둘째, B단락은 12/8박자에 ♩=60의 빠르기로 경쾌한 느낌으로 전개하고 있다. 붉게 피어난 능소화의 아름다운 모습을 관현악 반주와의 교차 연주로 음량확대와 선율강조를 통해 표현하였다. 셋째, C단락부터 I단락까지 총 일곱 단락으로 4/4박자에 ♩=72의 빠르기이며 앞의 출연 마디를 반영하였지만 선율 축소, 확대 변형 등으로 변화를 주어 능소화가 바람에 흩날리는 모습을 나타내었다. 리듬형태의 반복인 화성적 음형법을 통해 통일감과 안정감을 주고 능소화의 줄기와 잎이 피어오르는 모습을 화려하게 표현하였다. 넷째, J단락부터 O단락까지 총 여섯 단락이고 12/8박자, ♩=50의 빠르기이며, 능소화가 고난과 역경을 겪으며 마침내 아름다운 꽃 봉우리를 피우는 모습을 Solo 가야금이 소아쟁의 화성적 반주 역할을 함으로써 어두워진 곡의 느낌을 주었고 빠른 박자의 3연음 리듬 전개를 통해 보여주고 있다. 또한, 선율을 축소 반복하여 곡의 구성에 있어서 안정감과 통일감을 주며 다시 활짝 피어날 능소화를 기다리는 모습을 표현하였다. 25현 가야금 협주곡 <능소화>의 연주법은 전통주법과 현대주법으로 나뉠 수 있다. 첫째, 전통주법은 전성․연튕김․ 눌러내는주법․ 집는주법 · 뜯는주법 · 콘소르디노로 6가지의 연주법이 사용되었다. 둘째, 현대주법은 화음주법․스타카토․중음주법․이어뜯는주법․아르페지오․글리산도로 6가지의 연주법이 사용되었다. 전통주법과 현대주법을 통해서 곡의 흐름에 맞는 효과를 줄 수 있었고 작곡자가 곡에서 의도한 음의 표현을 할 수 있었다.

이상 25현 가야금 협주곡 <능소화>는 악곡을 단락별로 나누어 꽃이 피고 지는 동안의 모습을 선율과 리듬, 연주법을 통해 음악화한 작품이다. 이 작품은 곡이 진행됨에 따라 기존에 사용하였던 리듬과 선율의 반복으로 전체적인 곡의 흐름을 구성하여 통일감과 안정감을 주었으며, 전통주법과 현대주법을 고르게 사용한 연주법으로 25현 가야금의 전반적인 음의 표현과 작품의 느낌을 살리는 효과를 줄 수 있었다.
