외국어계열 고등학생 중국어 유의어 지도방안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 외국어계열 고등학교 중국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 유의어 지도방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 중국어는 유의어가 상당히 풍부한 언어 중의 하나로 유의어를 올바르게 사용하는 것은 의사소통 상황에 맞는 적절한 의사표현을 위해 매우 중요한 요건이라 할 수 있다. 외국어계열 고등학교 교과서에 출현하는 유의어는 사용빈도가 높고, 각 유의어가 갖는 의미가 많은 부분 서로 유사하여 학습자들이 이를 혼용하는 오류를 범하기 쉽다. 학습자들이 유의어를 올바르게 사용하여 자신의 생각과 의견을 정확하게 전달하기 위해서는 유의어의 의미와 용법에 대해 정확하게 파악할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 유의어간의 의미항목과 통사구조의 유사점과 차이점을 구분하고 의사소통 상황에 맞게 유의어를 선택하여 사용할 수 있도록 돕는 지도방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 다섯 개의 장으로 구성되었다. 제 Ⅰ장에서는 연구의 목적과 필요성을 밝히고 연구의 범위를 규명하였으며 본 연구와 관련된 선행연구들을 살펴봄으로써 본 연구의 방향을 제시하였다. 제 Ⅱ장에서는 유의어의 개념을 고찰하고 본 연구에서 분석할 유의어군을 선정한 후 이들의 유사점과 차이점을 비교하였다. 제 Ⅲ장에서는 외국어계열 고등학교의 유의어 교수-학습 현황을 조사하였다. 실제 교육현장에서 사용되는 교재를 분석하고 설문조사를 통해 교수 현황과 학습자들의 오류를 파악하여 유의어 교수-학습의 중점과 난점을 파악하고자 하였다. 제 Ⅳ장에서는 외국어계열 고등학생을 대상으로 한 유의어 지도방안을 제시하였다. 유의관계에 있는 각 어휘간의 비교를 통해 의미항목과 통사구조에 따른 유의어 변별 능력을 제고하여 유의어를 의사소통 상황에 맞게 사용할 수 있도록 하였으며, 교재 분석과 학습자 오류 분석을 통해 파악된 유의어 교수-학습상의 난점을 극복할 수 있는 방향으로 지도방안을 도출하였다. 본 연구가 실제 교육현장에서 활용될 수 있기를 바라며, 유의어의 교수-학습에 대한 연구가 앞으로 더욱 활발하게 이루어지기를 기대한다.;The purpose of this study was to propose instructional plans for synonyms for Chinese learners in foreign language high schools. Since Chinese is one of the languages with very rich synonyms, the right use of synonyms is a highly important requirement for proper expressions of opinions fit for given communication situations. In the textbooks used by foreign language high schools, synonyms are used in high frequency and each have similar meanings in many aspects, which makes it easy for learners to make an error of mingling them together. Learners should be able to understand the correct meanings and exact uses of synonyms to convey their thoughts and opinions accurately by making right use of synonyms. The present study thus set out to examine similarities and differences in meaning items and syntax structures among synonyms and devise an instructional plan to help to choose and use synonyms according to communication situations. The study consists of total five chapters: Chapter I presented the objectives and need of the study, defined the research scope, and proposed the research directions by reviewing previous studies related to the present study. Chapter II examined the concept of synonyms, selected synonym groups to be analyzed in the study, and compared them in similarities and differences. Chapter III investigated the current teaching and learning state of synonyms in foreign language high schools. The investigator analyzed the teaching materials used in the field of education and conducted a survey to identify errors made by learners and figure out the focuses and difficulties of synonym teaching and learning. Chapter IV proposed an instructional plan for synonyms for the students of foreign language high schools. The plan was devised in a way to help to increase the abilities of distinguishing synonyms according to the meaning items and syntactic functions by comparing the vocabulary in synonym relations, to use synonyms fit for communication situations, and overcome the learning difficulties identified through the analysis of teaching materials and learners' errors. The study will hopefully be used in the actual field of education and lead to more active researches on synonym teaching and learning in future.
