대학생의 성인기 ADHD 성향과 부적응적 분노행동의 관계

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relation among adult ADHD proneness(inattention-memory problem: IMP), external boredom proneness(EBP), perceived social support(PSS), maladaptive behavioral anger response(direct anger expression, avoidance, or rumination). The study participants were 480 students drawn from 5 universities in Seoul. The data were analyzed with Pearson's correlation, Structural Equation Modeling by SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were positive correlations among IMP, EBP, direct anger expression and rumination. And PSS had negative correlations with those variables. However, avoidance had no significant correlation with other variables. So avoidance was excluded the following examination. Second, the examination of structural relation among the major variables showed that all the paths were significant except the path from IMP to direct anger expression. Especially, the paths from EBP to direct anger expression and rumination were more powerful than other paths. Third, the result indicated that mediating effect of EBP between IMP and maladaptive behavioral anger responses was significant, as well as the dual-mediated effect of EBP and PSS between IAP and maladaptive behavioral anger responses was also significant. But there was no significant mediate effect of PSS only. These results showed that EBP and PSS related EBP should be included and examined in designed a intervention program for people who had adult ADHD proneness. Finding in this study also exhibited the direction for future research of relation between adult ADHD proneness and anger problem.;본 연구는 서울 소재 대학생 480명을 대상으로 성인기 ADHD 성향(부주의-기억 문제)과 부적응적 분노행동(직접 분노표출, 회피 또는 반추) 간의 관계에서 외적 권태성향과 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 먼저 각 변인들의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 다음으로 구조방정식 분석을 통해 각 변인들의 구조적 관계를 알아본 뒤, 마지막으로 각 변인들의 직접효과, 간접효과 및 총 효과분석을 하고, 성인기 ADHD 성향과 부적응적 분노행동 간의 관계에서 외적 권태성향과 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과에 대해 유의성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석을 실시하여 변인들 간의 상호 관련성을 살펴본 결과 부적응적 분노행동 중 하나인 회피를 제외한 모든 변인들 간 상관이 유의미하였다. 부주의-기억 문제, 외적 권태성향, 부적응적 분노행동인 직접 분노표출 및 반추 간에 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났으며, 이 변인들과 지각된 사회적지지 간에 부적 상관이 있음이 확인되었다. 둘째, 변인들 간의 구조적 관계를 파악하기 위하여 직접 분노표출과 반추 각각에 대한 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시한 결과, 외적 권태성향이 지각된 사회적 지지에 영향을 미치는 이중 매개 경로를 포함하는 모형이 현상을 설명하는 데 가장 적합한 것으로 나타나 최종모형으로 채택되었다. 셋째, 각 변인들의 직접효과, 간접효과 및 총효과를 살펴본 결과, 우선 부주의-기억 문제가 직접 분노표출에 미치는 직접효과는 유의하지 않았던 반면 반추에 미치는 직접효과는 유의미했다. 또한 외적 권태성향이 부적응적 분노행동인 직접 분노표출과 반추에 미치는 직접적인 영향력이 가장 크게 나타났다. 넷째, 성인기 ADHD의 부주의-기억 문제와 부적응적 분노행동의 관계에서 외적 권태성향과 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 Sobel test와 다변량 델타분석을 실시한 결과, 외적 권태성향이 유의한 단순매개효과를 나타냈으며, 외적 권태성향과 지각된 사회적 지지가 함께 작용하여 이중 매개효과를 나타냈다. 그러나 지각된 사회적 지지의 단순매개효과는 나타나지 않았다. 연구결과를 종합해보면, 외적 권태성향 및 외적 권태성향과 관련되어 낮게 지각된 사회적 지지는 부주의-기억 문제를 가진 개인의 직접 분노표출과 반추를 증가시킨다. 특히 외적 권태성향의 영향력이 크게 나타났으므로, 성인기 ADHD 성향을 가진 개인의 분노행동에 대한 개입에 있어서 외적 권태성향에 대한 개입이 중요함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 성인기 ADHD 성향과 분노행동의 관계에 대한 이해를 넓히며, 그에 대한 개입 전략을 계획하는 데 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
