To achieve this, specific research questions were as follows. 1. How teachers perceive Nuri curriculum for age 5? 1-1. What is the degree of teachers' perception for Nuri curriculum, and are their perceptions different from variables? 1-2. What are the difficulties and support needs that teachers have regarding Nuri curriculum? 2. What are teachers' level of use for Nuri curriculum for age 5? 2-1. What are teacher's level of use for Nuri curriculum, and are the levels different from variables? 2-2. How is the level of use different from the perception levels? 3. How teachers evaluate the program in Nuri curriculum for age 5? 3-1. How teachers evaluate the program in Nuri curriculum, and are they different from variables? 3-2. How is the program evaluation different from the perception levels? 3-3. How is the program evaluation different from the level of use? The subjects of current study were 828 teachers who work at kindergartens and daycare centers which adopted Nuri curriculum in Seoul. The purpose of current study was to examine teachers' perception, level of use, and program evaluation regarding Nuri curriculum for age 5. To achieve the aims for this study, data were collected by conducting a survey using mail, email, or fax from July to October in 2012. For analysis of collected survey data, frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Scheffé post test were conducted according to the research questions. The results of the research were as follows. First of all, teachers perceived Nuri curriculum for age 5 positively, and their perception was higher in attention and adequacy than in implementation and support. The degree of their perception was different from their background variables. Teachers showed higher perception for Nuri curriculum as they had higher teaching experience and level of education, work at public kindergartens and public daycare centers, and have same-age classes. Some difficulties in implementing Nuri curriculum were also founded. Teachers felt great pressure about applying the curriculum for only age of 5, and they had difficulties in preparing for classes. The degree of perceiving such difficulties were higher as their education level was low, work at public and private daycare centers, and had mixed-age classes. Teacher requested teaching materials, work hours, and development and dissemination of activities. Those support requests were higher for teachers who work at daycare centers, public kindergartens and public daycare centers, that have all-day classes, and have mixed-age classes. Teachers who had higher degree in perception for Nuri curriculum showed lower degree of perceiving difficulties, and higher request for support. On the other hand, teachers who had lower degree in perception for Nuri curriculum were highly perceived difficulties, but lower in degree of requesting support needs. Thus, reconsideration of teachers' perception for Nuri curriculum may reduce difficulties in implementation therefore teacher training and supports considering teachers' background variables should be arranged. Secondly, results showed that teachers were implementing Nuri curriculum skillfully. Their level of use from highest to lowest were method, educational contents, materials, theoretical supports and characteristics, aims, evaluation. The levels were different from other variables except class management types. The levels were higher as teachers had higher teaching experience and education level, work at daycare centers, public kindergartens, public daycare centers, and workplace or corporate daycare centers, and same-age classes. The levels were different from domains according to one's background variables, including teaching experience, level of education, institute type, establishment type, class management type, and same/mixed age classes. As a result of examining level of use for Nuri curriculum by teachers' degree of perception, teachers who had highly perceived the curriculum showed higher performance level. Especially, as the degree of teachers' perception for attention and adequacy was high, there were differences in aims and theoretical support and characteristics among subordinate domains of the level. As teachers had highly perceived implementation and support, they performed differently in the domains of materials and aims. Moreover, results showed that there was a great difference between high and low perception in the level of use of the Nuri curriculum. The degree of perceiving implementation and support, as compared to the degree of perceiving attention and adequacy was vastly different. The level of use for Nuri curriculum was different from teachers' background variables and the degree of perceiving the curriculum. Especially, results showed that there was a large difference in teachers perceiving implementation and support, which highlighted the importance of supports for implementing Nuri curriculum. Therefore, support plans considering teachers' background variables are needed. Thirdly, teachers evaluated the program in Nuri curriculum positively overall, and results showed that they have performed excellently in the order of health, nutrition, and safety, educational contents, teaching and learning, administrative management, organization and operation, evaluation, and education environment. The programs were highly evaluated by teachers who graduated from university and who work at daycare centers, public kindergarten, public daycare centers, and workplace or corporate daycare centers. Each domain of program evaluation was different from teachers' background variables, according to teaching experience, level of education, institute type, establishment type, class management type, and same/mixed age classes. Especially, establishment type and level of education influenced the differences along almost all domains. Program evaluation was also different from teachers' perception of Nuri curriculum. There were no differences in the evaluation according to the degree of perceiving attention and adequacy, but there were differences according to the degree of perceiving implementation and supports. There were differences in program evaluation according to level of use for Nuri curriculum, the program evaluation according to level of use showed a great difference between upper class and low class, as compared to the program evaluation according to the degree of perceiving Nuri curriculum. Thus, efforts enhancing teachers' level of use may be needed in order to reconsider the quality of Nuri curriculum. To do this, there needs to be ways to support it effectively and in various angles. Implications according to the results are as follows. First of all, arrange support system considering characteristics and requests according to teachers' background variables to implement age-specific Nuri curricula starting from 2013. Second, supplementation at teacher training in order to enhance teachers perception for Nuri curriculum. Because the results showed that there were differences in program evaluation and level of use according to the degree of teachers' perception regarding Nuri curriculum for age 5. Third, there needs to be physical, personal, administrative and financial supports and conditions within services, by considering the report that there were differences in program evaluation according to teachers' level of use. Fourth, with consideration for teachers having difficulties in implementing Nuri curriculum for the age of 5, appropriate support plan is needed for mixed-age classes and all-day classes. Fifth, teacher training and supports would need to reconsider teachers' professionalism, as the results showed that teachers felt a pressure in implementing Nuri curriculum. Lastly, parents education and public relations would be necessary in order to improve parents' perception for complete implementation of Nuri curriculum.-
