비치웨어를 위한 직물디자인 연구

Abstract

과거의 비치웨어는 관절염이나 아픔의 고통을 덜게 하는 수단으로 울이나 실크가 소재로 사용되었다. 그러나 21세기의 비치웨어는 기술의 발달과 더불어 소재의 다양한 변화를 가져왔다. 현재의 비치웨어는 다양한 기술의 발달로 과거의 비실용적인 제품에서 벗어나 스웨이드, 니트, 손뜨개 조직 등 여러 종류의 실용적인 비치웨어가 생산되고 있어, 소비자의 요구를 다양하게 반영하고 있다. 즉 현대의 소비자는 다양한 제품정보를 통해 획일화되고 대량화된 상품보다 차별화되고 자신의 요구가 반영된 제품을 선호하게 되었다. 특히, 비치웨어의 경우 휴양지나 바다에서 여성의 개성을 표현하는 중요한 의상인 만큼 실용성과 미적 효과가 뛰어난 제품이 필요하다. 또한, 비치웨어 및 여름의상, 스포츠용품 등에서 다양하게 나타나는 스트라이프 패턴은 과거 뱃사람인 선원들이 입는 줄무늬 의상에서 발전하였다. 그러나 선원들의 줄무늬 셔츠는 시대를 뛰어 넘어 이제는 여름의 시원함이나 젊음을 표현하는 중요한 패턴의 하나로 여겨지고 있다. 비치웨어에서의 스트라이프는 선과 면의 다양한 조합, 선의 반복, 색채의 적절한 조화를 통해 단순한 줄무늬가 아닌 현대인의 개성을 다양하게 표현되고 있는 하나의 패턴이며 이는 비치웨어 표현의 중요한 요소로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구자는 스트라이프 패턴의 조형성을 고찰하여 스트라이프와 비치웨어의 연계성을 밝히고, 시대적으로 쓰인 비치웨어의 패턴과 소재를 조사하여 비치웨어를 위한 직물패턴을 연구하였다. 현대의 비치웨어에 사용되는 스트라이프 패턴 중 2000년∼2003년까지 트랜드를 작품의 주제 설정을 위한 자료로 활용하였다. 작품제작에 있어서는 유행 경향에 기준하여 기존의 비치웨어와는 차별을 둔 스트라이프 직물을 제시 하였으며, 여러 가지 스타일로 적용이 가능하도록 직물 제작에 임하였다. 또한 다양한 실의 굵기 변화, 소재의 질감, 직물에서의 스트라이프 효과들을 살려 개성 있고 독창적인 직물제작을 시도하였다. 그리하여 비치웨어를 많이 입는 여름 휴가지에서 느낄 수 있는 여러 이미지를 분류하여 각 테마에 적합한 소재와 색상을 선택 하였고 이를 통해 비치웨어의 트랜드를 재해석하여 새롭게 제시하고자 하였다.

During the 21st century, technological advancements have allowed for swimwear to be made of a variety of materials, from suede to knits and hand-knit patterns. This is why there are many styles of swimwear that reflect consumers' tastes. Modern consumers have many choices and can find a style that portrays their desired image and fits different recreational uses. The beach wear that represents women of the sea necessitates utility and a sense of beauty. Moreover, the stripe patterns without in summer sports goods that bygone sailor were wearing development the stripe cloths. Nowadays, that is expressed the refreshing and youthful to consider important concept leisure sports Beach-wearers. The stripes are recognizing as not only that simple the stripe pattern but also one of pattern that diversity expressed on the beach wears through the different combination of line and surface, appropriate combination in color, However, in Korea, there has been little development design in women's beach wear according to a limitation of expression on stripe pattern. In this study, I researched for the trending of beachwear, the related of strip pattern. Also, the integration of striped patterns with beach wear, and the striped patterns used from the year 2000∼2003 were used in order to create the theme for this piece. The traditional beach wear was altered by the current trend and it was differentiated through the usage of striped patterns. The design was made so that it can be applied to various designs. I tried to make a creative fabric manufacture by changing yams, material condition and sprite effect. The beach wear trend was reinvented through the usage of different cloths according to different themes.
