베일리 영유아 발달검사 3판 사회 - 정서 척도 한국 표준화를 위한 예비 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this Study was to produce the Korean Social-Emotional Scale of the Bayley-III and to verify it has significant reliability and validity to obtain the base data on the standardization of Korean Bayely Scales of infant and toddler development-third edition. The Social-Emotional Scale of the Bayley-III was translated English to Korean by the graduated school student of developmental psychology, and the bilingual, who can use Korean and English, did a back-translated. And four of the developmental psychologists were investigated this Korean Social-Emotional Scale of the Bayley-III. Participants were 264 infants and toddlers who are between 10-42 months of the 9 different nursery schools in Seoul. The results of this study were as follow: 1. The reliability of the Korean Social-Emotional Scale of the Bayley-III showed strong inter-item consistency as .85-.94, depends on age-group (10-14, 15-18, 19-23, 24-30, 31-42months). In addition the SEM(Standard error of measurement) was 3.26. Also, the test-retest reliability show a strong correlation as .96(p<.01). It verified that the Korean Social-Emotional Scale of the Bayley-III have a excellence reliability 2. The variability of the Social- Emotional Scale of the Korean Bayley-III showed that the sensory processing and the total Social-Emotional Scale have a correlation as .73-.88(p<.01). depends on age-group. It means sensory processing can bounded by A test called the Social-Emotional Scale. Also, It had a clinical group study which targeted to developmental delay infants. It had the t-test to know the difference of mean performance of the developmental delay to normal development group. it has significant difference as p<.001 level. In Conclusion, this study can provide some basic materials to the standardization of the Social- Emotional Scale of the Korean Bayley-III.;본 연구는 한국판 베일리 영유아 발달검사 3판 사회-정서 척도를 제작하고, 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하여 Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development- Third Edition (Bayley-III) Social-Emotional Scale(Bayley, 2006)의 한국 표준화 연구의 기초 자료를 얻는 것을 목적으로 한다. Bayley-III는 0-42개월의 영유아를 대상으로 하는 종합적인 발달검사로 인지 척도, 언어 척도, 대근육/소근육 운동 척도, 사회-정서 척도, 적응-행동 척도로 구성되어 있다. 한국판 BSID-II의 표준화 연구(조복희, 박혜원, 2004)가 2004년에 시행되어 얼마 되지 않았지만 BSID-II(Bayley, 1993)가 개발 된지 10년 후에 연구가 시행되어 발달을 보다 폭넓은 관점에서 이해하고자 하는 최근 발달심리학 경향에 발맞추지 못하고 있으므로 최신 경향에 맞춘 Bayley-III (Bayley, 2006)의 표준화 연구가 필요하다고 하겠다. Bayley-III에서는 BSID-II에서는 포함되지 않았던 사회-정서 척도와 적응 행동 척도를 포함하고 있다. 그 중에서 이번에 표준화 예비연구를 한 Bayley-III 사회-정서 척도는 35문항으로 이루어진 5점 척도의 부모 보고형 검사지로서, 감각처리 능력과 기능적 정서 발달 수준을 평정하여 발달지연 아동을 조기에 선별하는 것을 목적으로 하는 Greenspan Social- Emotional Growth Chart(Greenspan, 2004)를 그대로 사용하고 있다. 그러므로 현재 표준화 되어있는 한국판 BSID-II와 함께 사용하여 BSID-II에는 없는 사회-정서 발달에 대한 내용을 보충해줄 수 있고, 간편하게 정상 아동과 발달지연 아동을 선별할 수 있는 단일검사로도 사용될 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 발달 심리학 전공 석사 과정 학생들에 의한 번역과 한국어-영어 이중 언어 사용자의 역번역 작업, 발달심리 전문가와 아동심리 전문가 4인의 검토를 통해 한국판 베일리 발달 검사를 제작하였고, 서울 시내 9개 어린이집에 재학 중인 10-42개월 영유아를 대상으로 검사지를 배부한 후, 264부를 수거하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국판 Bayley-III 사회-정서 척도의 신뢰도는 Cronbach의 α 계수가 연령그룹에 따라 .85-.94로 강한 내적 합치도를 보였고, 측정의 표준 오차도 3.26으로 문항 총점이 175점인 것을 감안할 때, 우수한 신뢰도를 갖고 있음을 검증했다. 검사-재검사 신뢰도 또한 .96으로 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국판 Bayley-III 사회-정서 척도의 타당도는 감각처리와 전체 사회-정서 척도의 상관이 연령 그룹에 따라 .73-.88으로 감각 처리 문항들이 사회-정서 척도라는 하나의 검사로 묶일 수 있는 개념임을 보여주었다. 또한 발달지연아동을 대상으로 한 변별 타당도에서 발달지연그룹과 정상발달그룹의 사회-정서 척도 총점 차이가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 한국판 Bayley-III 사회-정서 척도는 원검사에서의 내적 합치도 계수가 .90이었고, 정상 발달 아동과 발달 지연 아동 그룹 간의 평균차이가 유의미했던 것과 마찬가지로 높은 신뢰도와 타당도를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 추후의 연구에서는 본 연구에서 포함하지 못한 0-9개월의 영유아를 포함시키고, 표준화연구를 통해 한국규준의 개발이 필요할 것으로 보인다.
