생의 Image에 의한 유기체적 표현 연구

Abstract

The trend of fine arts of the world since 1980s, responding to the non-individualized, and conceptualized characteristics of minialism or conceptual arts, and other various trends, represents the recovery of concrete configurations. While plainly reflecting the historical situation of today's, 'post industrial society', it is forming a region of worldly sympathy in a rapid speed. The post Modernism which is expressed as pluralism (plularization) and eclecticism has achieved many results such as diversification of a domain, anti-genre, diffusion of media, etc., and is treating a very extensive domain of themes such as the phnomena of cultural, psychological differentiation in the era of - 'alienation', loss of subjectivity, lost dreams of people, and so forth. It can be described as the restoration of the decriptive, implicative values which have been so far alienated in the domain of modernism. It is partly concrete and abstract, and at the same time symbolic and expressionistic in the ways of their expression. The tradition of both minimalism and modernism has passed, and the trend of reproduction and the return of expressive nature has was the public sympathy, while creating culturae vitality and it's barometer. Nowadays, the whole society, for the result of the development of scientific civilization, is experiencing ecological, cultural crisis, and under such a situation, it is considered that the role of atr should be the pursuit of the essence of human spirit. Also, resolute criticism on the historical situation and confidence on the situation of today's art will construct the hopeful and satisfactory future history. Therefore by understanding the basic problems of my spirit which exists in modern society, intends ta search for the field of nature and life. The basic research into life is done through my creative activity based on the imagination. The symbolic perspective was achieved by the deformation of existing images. This is a process of a new approach to the images of modern nature for the recovery of my subjective sensitivity. In this study, based on Bergson's living philosophy, the concept of the configuration of life in paintings, and the orainic, method of expressing the image of life is discussed. And finally, by analysing works, I intended to evaluate the extent of my artistic expression. It is my wish that the contents of my works are well reflected in all the forms, and hopefully the realization of the present level will become the guidnce to the future study.;80년대 이후 세계 미술의 흐름은 그 동안의 미니멀리즘이나 개념 미술, 그 밖에 다양한 사조들이 가졌던 비개성화 되고 관념화 된 특성에 맞서, 구체적인 형상의 회복으로 나타나고 있다. 이른바 후기 산업 사회로 불리우는 오늘날 시대적 상황을 적나라하게 반영하면서 빠른 속도로 세계적인 공감대를 형성해 나가고 있다. 다원화. 절충주의라고 표현되는 post-madernism은 영역의 다양화. 탈장르. 매체 확산 등 많은 성과를 성취했고 시대의 문화 심리적 분화 현상인 소외라든가 주체 상실 그밖의 인간의 잃어버린 꿈등 매우 폭넓은 주제 영역을 다루고 있다. 그것은 modernism의 관심영역에서 소외되어 왔던 서술적이고 내용적인 가치들에 대한 환원이라고 할 수 있다. 양식적인 면에 있어서도 부분적으로 구상적이며 추상적이고, 또한 상징적이기도 하고 표현주의적 이기도 한다. 재현적인 경향과 표현성 복귀는 대중적인 공감대를 형성하면서 미니멀리즘과 모더니즘적 전통을 거쳐서 현대적 관점에서 시대를 표현한 문화의 활력과 척도가 되고 있다고 하겠다. 오늘날 사회 전반에는 과학문명 발달 결과 생태학적. 문화적 위기를 겪고 있으며, 이러한 상황속에서 예술 역할은 인간정신의 본질을 추구하는 것이어야 한다고 생각한다. 또한 예술은 시대 상황에 대한 과감한 비판과 오늘의 상황에 대한 확신을 포함해야 하며, 또한 거기에서 현재 소망되고 기도된 미래의 역사를 구축할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 본인은 현대 사회의 실존하는 자아의 정신의 근본적인 문제를 인식하고 자영, 생명에 대한 새로운 탐구의 장으로 삼고자 한다. 生에 대한 원초적 탐구는 본인의 상상력에 기반한 창조성에 의한 것이다. 따라서 현실에 존재하는 대상의 이미지를 deformation 시켜 생명의 형태를 상징시각으로 형태화하고 조형화 하는 것을 제작과정으로 한다. 이는 인간이 만든 현대적 자연의 Image 들에 대한 새로운 접근과 주관적 감성을 회복하고자 함이다. 본 연구에서는 Bergson 의 생철학을 토대로 회화에서의 생명 형상의 개념과 함께 生의 이미지에 의한 유기체적 표현 방법을 논의 하고자 한다. 그리고 마지막으로 본인의 작품을 제시 분석함으로써 작품의 표현적 성과를 검토해보겠다. 이러한 작품제작 연구에 있어 내용과 형식이 일치되는 과정으로 보여지길 바라며, 대학원 전 과정을 통하여 객관적으로 자신의 작품 위치를 찾고 앞으로 제작방향 모색의 기초로 삼고자 한다.
