색채를 통한 꽃의 조형적 표현

Abstract

자연과 밀접한 관계를 이루고 있는 인간은 자연의 끊임없는 변화와 조화속에서 그 영향을 받고 있으며 계속적인 관찰과 표현의 대상이 자연이었다. 이러한 자연을 통해 인간은 아름다움을 발견하고 새로운 예술미를 창조해 나가고 있으며, 미혹의 세계를 추구하는 현대 작가들에게는 단순한 자연형태의 정확한 표현보다는 정신적인 관조에 의하여 우주의 본질로서 자연생명을 표출하고 있는 동양의 자연관에 의해 자신의 감정을 표출하는데에 무한한 매력을 부여하고 있다. 또한 예술은 자연에서 미(美)를 발견하는 하나의 구체적인 수단이 되며 그것은 무엇인가를 표현함으로써 성립되는 것이다. 따라서 그 표현은 창조적인 표현이 되며 예술가의 내적논리와 표현양식의 일체성을 통하여 예술작품이 이루어지는 것이다. 꽃은 자연물의 하나에 속하며 유기체가 갖는 특성과 생명감을 함축하고 있기에 즐겨 표현된 대상중의 하나이다. 본연구는 자연에서 꽃을 소재로 하여 현대 자수작품으로 표현하고자 하며 이를 위한 이론적 배경으로는 동양의 자연관과 예술, 그리고 동양 색채관의 사상적 배경이 되는 음양오행(陰陽五行)사상과 자연주의(自然主義) 사상의 영향으로 의미나 상징 및 관념을 중시하였음을 살펴보았다. 표현내용은 자연의 현상중에서 꽃의 이미지를 동양색채관에 의거한 무채색 계통^(1)과 다색으로 변형하여 자연을 추상적인 형태로 재구성하였다. 작품제작에 있어서는 색채와 꽃의 이미지가 부합되도록 가늘고 섬세한 비단실을 소재로 현대 자수의 자유로운 표현과 부조적인 표현을 위해 실을 꼬거나, 엮거나 또는 결이 고운 마나 소창을 부분적으로 꼴라쥬하여 연관된 조형성을 추구하였다.;Human beings are closely related with nature and are influenced by harmony and change of nature. The object continually observed and expressed is also nature. Throughout the nature, Human beings discover beauty and create new art. They exert more deep efforts in the pursuit of spiritual image than accurate expression Of the form of simple nature. Modern artists, they pursue the delusive world, feel endless attraction on the expression of own emotion through the view of nature of the Orient that is expressed a life of nature as essence of the cosmos through spritual contemplation. Also, the art is a concrete means in discovering beauty of nature and it is brought into being by expression of object things. Therefore, expression is creative and a work of art is realized by the whole of expression methods and internal logic of artists. The flower is belong to nature and it is one of the object has been expressed by preference for the reason of implication of characteristics of an organism and liveliness. Present study is a expression of a work of modem embroidery using flower for its material. As the theoretical base for this, I found that this study take a serious view of meaning, symbol and conception influenced by the thought of Five Element of the Native and Positive and Naturalism for background of the oriental view of color. Depend on the view of color of the Orient, the contents of expression have undergone a transformation of the image of flower among the form of nature into harmony of the series of an achromatic color and multiple color. And the nature was reconstructed into a form of abstraction. In producing of a work, I twisted and plaited threads using fine and delicate silk for the harmony of color and image of flower. For free expression of modern embroidery and embossing expression, I pursued plastic arts by virtue of abstract mode of expression by making collage of fine textured linen and gauze. The results of present study as follows. First, through the formation of a image of flower, the pursuit of plastic arts intensely recognized the essence of color. Second, The use of silk for the expression of harmony of the series of an achromatic color and multiple color could be shown closely effect of unique image of color and texture. Third, for expression of the image of flower, I showed visible expression of a form among the flower with a black color as the central figure and used collage partially. And it is appropriate that formed a sense of space. By the expression of form of grasses, leaves and stalks as multiple color, I emphasized effectively image of flower that expressed with a black color as the central figure. Fourth, embroidery threads, which is characterized by soft, delicate, changeable and flexible nature, was used for expression of configuration of flower by the change of thickness and twist. And it was produced massiveness and volume for the effect of color.
