호염에 의한 기하학적 창살문양의 재구성

Abstract

It may be safely said that we have one of the longest national histories in the world, and with our own culture, wonderful and brilliant. As it is said that Oriental culture is the Chinese one, our ancestors are smart enough, however, to make it their stalkinghorse to develop ours farther and creatively so that our independence and originality may be expressed more suitably. It is the background of this study to understand and learn our important cultural heritage more correctly, to estimate and keep its value as it is, to hand down it to our next generations, and thus to improve our national sovereignty. For the purpose, it is discovered that our domesyic, original lattice patterns may provide an internal necessity where you con find out the beauty of simplicity, artlessness, or gorgeousness: and, as a way of expression of such internal necessity in the study, natural lines whose quality is similiar to that of our lattice doors and which are based on the abstract impulse - will are chosen. As the title of "The Reconstruction of Geometrical Lattice Patterns Using cone dyeing" suggests. the degree of harmony between the formative beauty of lattice and the line, which is an expressive element through the abstract impulse - will, is exanined by looking into them expressed in the works which are manufactured for this purpose. When manufacturing works, cone dye and both coloring and white discharges using cone are explored together. The result shows that this methodolgy is easier to work than the present one using and that the works show very attractive depth arid some neutralized colors resulting from the reiteration of repeated lines, that have very effective images for the study. The desirable,proper,and characteristic colors and intensive expression by cone discharge can be obtained only after several trials and errors and repetitive experiments to understand the correct features of dyes and agents It is also revealed that the lattice patterns, the subject - matterr of internal necessity may become the objects of neww formative activities, since the appearance of beautiful feeling kept by lines that is the exptessive element through the abstract impulse - will is overlapped by colors in a repeatedly reiterated space. They can be recognized as good materials with sufficient possibility for the creative arts. Finally, it is suggested that lots of study shall be performed for keeping, maintaining, evaluating and developing, our cultural heritage more efficiently, and more dyeing materials and technologies shall be devoloped to have our own formativeness established as a part of creative arts.;연민히 이어온 우리 민족의 자랑스러운 역사는 세계에서도 그 유래가 드문 유구한 전통을 지니고 있으며, 文化 또한 어느 민족보다도 우수하고 찬란하다. 동양 문화는 황화문호라고까지 말할 정도로 중국대륙으로 부터의 밀접한 자극을 받았으나, 우리의 조상들은 이것을 모체로 하여 우리들의 주체성과 생활체질에 맞추어 민감하게 우리들 특유의 순수한 한국적 문화를 창조해낸 것이다. 이에 본 연구자는 귀중한 문화유산을 좀더 알고 배우므로 인해서 그 존재의 가치관을 높이고 또 소중히 보호하고 繼承 發展시킴으로써 民族的 意識과 주체성 고취에 관심을 두게 되었다. 이와 같은 일련의 목적을 위한 내적 필연성은 소박미, 단순미, 호려한 미를 동시에 내포하고 있는 고유한 창살문양에 집착하게 되었으며, 이러한 내적 필연성에 의한 내적세계의 표출을 위한 표현방법으로서 창살의 재질과 유사하며 추상충동의지를 바탕으로한 자연스러운 선의 표현을 본 연구의 목적으로 두었다. 따라서, 연구자는 "콘을 이용한 기하학적 창살紋樣의 재구성"을 주제로 설정하며 이를 위한 창살문양에 나타난 조형미, 표현요소로서의 線을 포괄적으로 연구하여 창살의 고유한 조형미와 추상충동의지에 의한 표한요소인 선과의 조화를 작품제작을 통하여 살펴 보았다. 작품제작은 콘염과 적극적인 표현을 위한 방법으로서 콘을 이용한 착색발염과 백색발염을 함께 연구하였다. 그 결과 본 연구자의 작품제작에 있어서 기존의 방염 처리제로 사용된 방염제에 의한 표현방법 보다 작업과정이 간단하며 염색의 독특한 매력인 투명한 깊이감과 반복된 선에 의한 중첩된 선의 색상들이 서로 겹쳐져 중화된 느낌의 색상이 이루워지므로 본 논문의 주제로 설정된 창살의 이미지와 잘 어울리는 장점이 있어 효과적이었으며 아울러 콘을 이용한 발염에 의한 선표현은 독특한 색상과 강한 느낌의 표현이 발염에 의한 여러번의 시행착오와 실험을 거쳐 염료와 약품의 특성을 정확히 파악 한 다음에야 적절한 표현효과를 기대할 수 있었으며 원하는 표현이 가능하였다. 또한 내적 필요성에 의한 소재인 창살 문양은 추상충동의지에 의한 표현요소인 線이 보유한 아름다운 감정표현이 반복에 의한 중첩에 의한 형성된 공간속에 색이 겹쳐지므로 새로운 조형 행위의 대상으로 형성되어 무한한 창작예술로서의 가능성을 기대할수 있는 소재로 인식되었다. 따라서 본 연구자는 우리의 찬란한 문화유산을 소중히 보호하고 아끼며 좀더 알고 배우므로서 그 존재의 가치관을 높이고 또 귀중한 문화유산을 창작예술로서의 가능성과 발전을 위해 소재에 대한 많은 연구와 염색재료 및 기법들을 꾸준히 연구 개발하여 독창적인 조형세계를 구축해 나가고자 한다.
