포장의 장식적 조형성을 응용한 의상디자인

Abstract

The dress and its ornaments of today are expressed by being stuck fast to the creation will and art of artist himself most as a field of plastic arts, and it is seeking the independent art world plastically and creatively. In the expression of plastic art, human body is the important motive, and the works to make the human body as the theme are being expressed with painting or sculpture. Then, this visual art is the physical subject which is human body, and it is the second space to surround human body. Thus, the clothing may be put in the category of visual art completely. The dress and its ornaments ate the means of self-expression and, in expressing the individual character and self-concept, it is not visual and it satisfies the aesthetic sense or aesthetic desire. So, in this study, this researcher tried to seek the harmony with human body by combining the packing that the importance is being embossed all the more as one medium of vision transmission today with human body, expressing the new plastic form to appear in the binding out of packing technique and introducing it to the dress and its ornaments. And, about the image effect based on the modeling of the dress and its ornaments to function as expression, this researcher tried to express the peculiar plastic nature by adding the functionality and decorative nature in dress. As for the contents of this study, this researcher examined about packing concept, packing design and plastic nature as the theoretical background through literature, and examined the modeling of packing applied to clothing through data photo. Next, this researcher examined about the form of binding to be able to be expressed as the three-dimensional plastic nature in dress. Lastly, this researcher observed the binding form to be shown in modern clothing by presenting the example which applied as the element of design with the reference photo. In the work manufacture, this researcher manufactured 8 works expressed in the form of functionality and decorative nature in dress, about the peculiar plastic nature to appear in the form of various bindings. The result through this study process is as follows: First, this researcher could try the new plastic physical beauty which is the packing of human body, with the packing-characteristic-concept to surround the human body, by recognizing the human body in packing as one subject. Second, by interpreting the tree-dimensional expression technique to be genearted in the binding of packing, this researcher could present the direction of modeling of the dress and its ornaments toward the new visual effect in the modern society to demand newness at all times. Third, this researcher could express the natural three-dimensional binding form which was generated by binding the textiles of various forms mutually, with the individual modern clothing to be able to obtain the beautiful decorative effect or the functional effect in the design of the dress and its ornaments. This researcher presented the possibility that all the plastic elements may be applied as the beautiful design of the dress and its ornaments, wishing that all the diverse functional elements as well as the function of packing in the design of the dress and its ornaments will be developed as the material of new dress and its ornaments to be able to be expressed with decoration.;오늘날의 복식은 조형예술의 한 분야로써, 작가 자신의 창조의지와 예술에 가장 밀착되어 표현되며, 조형적 창조적으로 독자적인 예술세계를 추구하고 있다. 조형적 예술표현에 있어서 인체는 중요한 모티브이며, 인체를 주제로한 작품들이 회화나 조각으로 표현되어지고 있는데, 이러한 시각예술은 인체라는 물리적 주체와 인체를 둘러싸는 제2의 공간으로써 의상도 충분히 시각예술의 범주에 넣을 수가 있다. 복식은 자기표현의 수단이며 개인의 성격과 자아개념을 표출하는데 있어서 가장 시각적이며, 미적감각이나 미적욕구를 충족시킨다. 이에 본 연구는 시각전달의 한 매체로써 오늘날 그 중요성이 더욱 부각되어지고 있는 포장을 인체와 결합하여 포장의 기법중에서 묶기에서 나타나는 새로운 조형 형태를 장식으로써 표현하여 복식에 도입하므로써 인체와의 조화를 추구하려 하였으며, 표현으로써의 기능을 하는 복식조형에 의한 이미지 효과를 묶음형태에서 나타나는 독특한 조형성을 의복에 있어서 기능성 및 장식성을 가미하여 표현하려 하였다. 본 연구의 내용은 이론적 배경으로써 포장의 개념과 포장디자인 및 조형성에 대해 문헌을 통해 알아보았고, 의상에 적용된 포장의 조형을 자료사진을 통해 살펴보았다. 다음으로 의복에 입체적인 조형성으로 표현될 수 있는 묶음의 형태에 대해 문헌과 자료사진을 통해 살펴 보았으며, 마지막으로 현대의상에서 보여지고 있는 묶음형태를 디자인의 요소로 적용한 예를 참고사진을 제시하여 관찰하였다. 작품제작에 있어서는 여러가지 묶음의 형태에서 나타나는 독특한 조형성을 의복에 있어서 기능성과 장식의 형태로 표현되어진 작품 8점을 제작하였다. 이러한 연구과정을 통한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 포장에 있어서 인체를 하나의 대상물로 인식하여 인체를 '둘러싼다'라는 포장적 개념으로, 인체의 포장이라는 새로운 조형적 형태미를 시도할 수 있었다. 둘째, 포장의 끓기에서 생기는 입체적 표현기법을 조형적으로 해석함으로써 항상 새로움을 요구하는 현대 사회에 새로운 시각적 효과로의 복식조형의 방향을 제시할 수 있었다. 셋째, 여러 형태의 직물등을 서로 묶어줌으로써 생긴 자연스러운 입체적 묶음 형태를 복식 디자인에 있어서 아름다운 장식적 효과 혹은 기능적 효과를 얻을 수 있는 개성적인 현대의상으로 표현할 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 복식 디자인에 있어서 포장의 기능 뿐아니라 다양한 모든 기능적 요소를 장식으로써 표현될 수 있는 새로운 복식의 소재로 개발되길 바라며, 모든 조형적인 요소 또한 복식의 아름다운 디자인으로 응용될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하여 주었다.
