Franz Liszt의 가곡 'Tre sonetti di Petrarca'에 관한 연구

Abstract

Franz Liszt(1811-1886)는 헝가리 Raiding태생의 작곡가이다. 그는 Hector Berlioz(1803-1869)와 Fryderyk Chopin(1810-1849)의 서정성과 Nicolo′ Paganini(1782-1840)의 기교를 바탕으로하여, Liszt 자신의 철학적, 종교적, 문학적 이해와 함께 음악적인 다양한 어법을 구사함으로, 후기 낭만음악에 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 가곡 작곡가로써, Liszt는 아직 크게 인지되지 않고 있는 것이 사실이지만, 실제로 Gabriel Faure′(1845-1924)보다도 많은 가곡의 수를 남기고 있으며, 그 가곡들의 완성도 또한 높이 평가 할 만 하다. 그는 여러나라의 언어로 가곡을 작곡했는데, 이태리 최대의 시인, Francesco Petrarca(1304-1374)의 3개의 sonetto에 음악을 붙인 ‘Tre sonetti di Petrarca’는 이태리어 가사에 의한 총 5편의 가곡중에서도 문학과 음악이 완벽하게 결합된 좋은 예이다. 피아노 반주를 갖는 ‘Tre sonetti di Petrarca’는 잦은 전조와 모호한 화성 그리고 비 기능적 화음이 초래하는 선율들로 낭만적인 색체를 짙게 보여 준다. 또한, ‘Tre sonetti di Petrarca’의 세 작품은 주제적, 음악적으로 통일성을 이루어 연가곡의 특성을 나타낸다.;Franz Liszt(1811-1886) is a composer born in Raiding of Hungary. He is regarded as an important figure in the late Romantic period because his philosophical, religious and literary understanding and varied musical language which was based ort the lyricism of Hector Berlioz(1803-1869), and Fryderyk Chopin(I810-1849) and the craftmanship of Nicolo´ Paganini(1782- 1840). It is true that Liszt does not receive a high ranking among other song composers. But he left more art songs than Gabriel Faure´ (1845-1924) and the quality of those songs can be estimated very highly. He used several languages for his art song production. Among the five works written in Italian, 'Tre sonetti di Petrarca' which were written on three sonetts of the greatest Italian poet, Fracesco Petrarca, is a good example showing a perfect coherence of literature and music. "Tre sonetti di Petrarca' with piano accompaniment show romantic color by frequent modulation, abstract perpendicular harmony and melodies caused by non-functional harmony. Accomplishing unity in theme and music, these three works show the characteristics of a song cycle.
