여성해방과 생명보존의 관계에 대한 고찰

Abstract

I have tried to show that the fundamental cause of ecocrisis is the patriarchal androcentrism rather than anthropocentrism. According to ecofeminist critics, women have long been associated with nature metaphorically and historically. Women have been distorted and opressed by the effects of patriarchy. And the natural world has been thought of as a resource, it has been exploited without regard for the life that it supports. Women and nature, indeed humans and nature, need a new image. So I suggest that womens's struggle is of necessity also an ecological struggle in many ways. In chapter 1, I show the purpose and values of this project. I regard the women's status oppressed by patriarchal cultural system and religious ideology and the global problems exploited by thecnology as our real problems. So I demonstrate that it needs to be connected Women's Movement and Ecological Movement. In chapter 2, I critically examine that theology and church alike have been distorted by the effects of patriarchal history. And I look upon the drawbacks of androcentrism or man-centeredness of the traditional Christian thought and institutions within the feminist perspective. In chapter 3, I expose that tecnology, capitalism, and militarism are causing our ecological disaster, and that masculine conscious is identified with conquest and domination. In chapter 4, I deal with the ecological reinterpretation about creation and salvation theory. And I indicate the values of Ecofeminism grew out of radical, liberal, or socialist feminism, which holds the dynamics to solve women's problems and ecologial crisis simultaneously. Finally, I suggest the model of God as a body of the world for the theological foundation of ecofeminism Finally, in conclusion, I summerize this project in stressing the need of both humanization of women and men, reweaving the world. Because we have to actually work things out with all our relations in our time.;여성과 자연은 많은 부분에 있어서 상징적으로 상호연관되어 생각되어질 수 있지만 특별히 여성과 자연은 생명을 잉태하고 탄생시키고 양육한다는 점에서 그 연결점을 찾을 수 있다고 본다. 이러한 연결점 위에서 본 논문은 현금의 생태학적 위기의 근본적 원인이 인간중심적 사고체계에 있다는 것에서 더 나아가 가부장적 남성중심주의가 그 근본적 원인이라고 이해하는데에 근거하여 여성의 문제와 생태학적 위기의 문제를 생각해봄으로써 여성해방과 생명보존이 같은 맥락에서 다루어야 함을 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 제1장에서는 가부장적 문화와 종교적 이데올로기의 굴레 속에서 억압받는 여성의 삶의 상황과 자연 파괴의 위기성을 문제 상황으로 설정하고, 이러한 상황을 극복, 해결하기 위하여 여성해방운동과 생태학적 운동의 요구를 하나로 통합시켜야 할 필요성을 제기하면서 본 논문의 목적과 의의를 밝혔다. 제2장에서는 가부장제 역사가 신학과 교회에 어떠한 영향을 미쳐왔는가를 비판적으로 검토함으로써 전통적 기독교 사상이나 제도 속에 들어 있는 여성억압적이고 여성혐오적인 신념체계나 가치체계를 여성신학적 입장에서 다루고 있다. 제3장에서는 기술문명, 자본주의, 군국주의 등의 남성적 가치체계로 인한 생태학적 위기상황을 분석함으로써 남성적 가치체계의 한계성을 지적한다. 제4장에서는 창조와 구원에 대한 생태학적 해석을 살펴보고 우리의 상황에서 여성 문제를 해결하기 위한 여성해방운동과 생태학적 운동이 통합되어 출현한 생태학적 여성운동이 가지는 그 의의를 살펴본다. 결론적으로 이상의 과정을 통해 여성, 남성 전체의 인간화, 생명보존, 창조보존을 실현시킬 수 있는 방법론이란 여성을 억압하는 현실에 대한 올바른 분석과 동시에 생태계 위기 현황의 근본적 원인 분석이 같은 맥락에서 이루어짐으로써 그 극복을 위한 실천 역시 함께 해나가야 함을 제시하고자 한다.
