이야기 신학 방법론 연구

Abstract

한국 신학의 형성을 위해서는 정치적 의미에서의 토착화라 할 수 있는 민중신학과 문학적 의미에서의 토착화신학의 방법론이 정립되어야 한다. 이 논문은 이러한 두 가지 과제를 성찰하는 방법론으로서 '이야기 신학' 방법론을 한국 신학의 한 방법론으로 제시하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 이러한 전제 아래 서남동, 김용복, 이우정을 중심으로 하여 민중신학과 한국 여성신학에서의 '이야기 신학' 방법을 이해하고자 한다. 우선 민중신학에 있어서 '이야기'를 민중신학의 한 방법론적 범주로 제시한 서남동의 '민담의 신학'을 살핀다. 그는 '민중의 이야기'는 체험적인 몸의 언어로서 실제적이고 구체적인 경험과 사례에서 귀납적으로 얻어내는 이야기이며, 그것은 하느님의 계시의 본래적인 전달매체가 된다고 한다. 또한 그는 '두 이야기의 합류'에서 한국의 민중전통과 성서 및 교회사의 민중전통의 이야기가 합류되고 있음을 말하면서, 민중신학은 성서와 한국의 '민중 이야기'에서 신학의 가능성과 그 뿌리를 찾는 신학임을 보여줌으로써 새로운 민중신학 이야기를 만드는 것을 가능케 하고 있다. 그리고 김용복은 '민중의 사회전기'를 신학의 역사적 틀로 할 것을 제안하면서, 한국 신학은 '한국 민중의 사회전기'라는 맥락과 틀을 통하여 성립되어야 한다고 한다. 이상에서 민중의 경험에서 출발한 민중신학은 민중의 한과 고난, 갈망의 이야기를 서술하는 이야기 신학으로서, 민중의 경험과 구체적인 민중들의 삶을 표현하고 전달하는 가장 적절한 방식은 이야기 형태임을 밝힌다. 다음으로 한국 여성신학에 있어서는, 전통문화 속에 나타난 여성들의 이야기를 발굴해내어 여성신학의 내용과 접목시키는 이우정의 신학 방법을 통하여, 그동안 가려졌던 여성의 고난과 한의 이야기, 그리고 오늘날의 해방을 위한 투쟁 과정에서의 이야기를 가지고 신학화하는 이야기 신학 방법을 한국 여성신학의 한 방법론으로 제시한다. 다음에는 이야기 신학에서 제기되는 문제들을 규명한다. 그리하여 이야기 신학으로서의 민중신학과 한국 여성신학에서 '이야기'의 범주로는 민중의 이야기, 여성의 이야기를 그 내용으로 한다. 그리고 '민중의 이야기'와 성서의 이야기를 연결시키는 문제에 대하여는 오늘의 민중 현실과 민중 예수를 연결시키면서, 이야기 신학의 근거를 성서의 이야기에 둔다. 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 하여, 이야기 신학 방법의 문제점과 신학적 의의를 밝힘으로써 결론적으로 이야기 신학 방법론이 한국 신학의 전개를 위한 하나의 방법론으로 성립될 수 있음을 제시한다.;The minjung theology called as the indigenization in the political aspect and the indigenization theology in the cultural aspect should be established in order to form the Korean theology. The aim of this study is to propose the methodology of "narrative or story theology" as the methodology of Korean theology to characterize the above two categories of the theology. Under the above assumption, the methodology of narrative theology both in the minjung theology and the Korean feminist theology is dealed with this topic mainly focused on Suh Nam Dong, Kim Yong Bock, and Lee Woo Chung. First of all, Suh Nam Dong's story theology is reviewed which proposed 'story' in the minjung theology as a methodological category of the minjung theology. He concluded that "the story of the minjung" was the story extracted from the pratical and illustrated experiences and examples as the experienced body language and that it became an authentic communication media of God's revelation. He could make a new minjung theology story by showing that minjung theology finds the possibility of a theology and its root from the Bible and Korean minjung story, stating that the Korean minjung tradition and the minjung tradition in Christianity is joined in "the confluence of two stories. " And, Kim Yong Bock assert that a Korean theology should be formed through the context and the frame of a social biography of Korean minjung, proposing "minjung's social biography" as a historical point of reference in theology. The minjung theology started from an experience of the minjung represented grief [Han(恨)]. suffering and hope, so a storytelling has been proved the best form to express and to communicate minjung's experience and concrete minjung's life. Secondly, Korean feminist theology will disclose a hidden story of women's suffering and grief through Lee Woo Chung's theology methodology that connects the content of Korean feminist theology digging out the women's story from the traditional culture, and it will propose a narrative theology methodology that theologize the story on the struggling process for liberation as a methodology of Korean feminist theology. Next, this study will clarify the problems suggested in the narrative theology. So, the story of the minjung and feminine story are the content of minjung theology and Korean feminist theology as the narrative theology. And, it will link the present minjung reality with the minjung Jesus and base the narrative connecting the Korean minjung story theology on the biblical story, with the biblical story. In conclusion, this study will suggest that the methodology of narrative theology can be formed as a methodology to develop Korean theology by pointing out the problems of narrative theology and it's theological meaning under the above understanding.
