점묘표현에 관한 연구

Abstract

이 논문은 점묘를 이용한 이미지 시각화 표현을 연구하는데 의의를 두고 있다. 점묘는 조형요소에 있어 가장 기본이 되는 點이 色으로 나타나는 기법인데, 반복·중첩되면서 디테일한 묘사나 색의 뉘앙스를 표현하는데 적절한 수단이 된다. "무엇을 어떻게 표현할 것인가"라는 문제에는 "무엇"이라는 표현의 내용과 "어떻게"라는 표현의 형식이 이중성을 갖고 나타나게 된다. 이에 대한 표현의 내용적인 측면은 칸딘스키의 내적필연성에 대한 견해를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 또한, 형식적인 면은 조형요소의 종류와 특성을 살펴보고, 그것을 이용하여 나타나는 객관적 결과물로써의 성격에 대하여 서술하였다. 조형요소에 있어 점(點)과 색채는 본 연구자의 표현기법상 기본적 요소가 됨으로, 자세히 그 성격과 표현성에 대하여 서술하였고, 이는 색과 점을 이용한 색점(色點)이라는 표현언어로, 그 가능성 및 전개에 대하여 연구하였다. 색점 즉, 점묘를 이용한 표현기법의 연구과정은 회화에 나타났던 분할·점묘기법과 연계성을 가지게 된다. 이 분할·점묘기법은 19세기 신인상주의자들이 그들의 색채이론을 보다 효과적으로 표현하려고 사용했던 것이다. 그러므로 그들의 기법은 색채이론에 근거하고 있으며, 이를 들라크로아와 인상주의, 신인상주의의 색채표현 측면에서 비교하여 살펴보았다. 과거 관념적인 색채표현에 반기를 들고 당시 과학사상과 결합된 색채이론을 회화에 적용하였던, 인상파와 신인상파는 가시 스펙트럼의 색을 분석하였고, 시시각각으로 변하여 보이는 순간의 색을 표현하고자 하였다. 이와 비교하여, 본 연구자의 표현방법인 "점묘"는 단지 조형의 요소로 나타난다. 즉, 색채는 본인 임의대로 조화·대비를 통하여 물질로서의 성격을 가지고 있으며, 점은 색채의 뉘앙스를 나타내는 조형요소로 쓰여지고 있다. 이러한 표현기법이 특징적으로 나타날 수 있는 내용으로 "잠재된 에너지의 이미지"를 표현하였다. 사물에는 보여지기도 하지만 "잠재되어 있는 힘"으로서의 에너지를 가지고 있고, 이것의 image를 리듬·율동·흐름·격렬한 움직임의 효과를 통하여 캔버스 위에 아크릭칼라를 사용하여 표현하였다. 여기에 제시된 작품들은 앞으로 계속 연구되는 것의 초석이 되며, 본 연구자의 작품제작·연구의 방향을 제시한다고 할 수 있다.;This thesis is based on the importance to study an expression possibility of the illustration using "color point". "Color point" is the method to press points with colors, which are the most basic thing in formative elements to be a good measure to express detailed descripion and colorful nuance with repeating, folding and piling up. Since a problem "What and How to express? " has the content of expression of "What" and the expression method of "How", its form has and show doubleness. The content of expression was examined focused on the viewpoint on W. Kandinsky's internal inevitability. Meanwhile, for formative matter with inspecting the distinction of formative elements, the feature as an objective result which was stemed form using the distinction of formative elements was studied. Since the points and the colors of formative elements are the basic elements as this researcher's expression method, their feature and expression were described in details. The possibility on this is to exploited as an expression language of a color point. The study process of the expression method using color point is to have relation with the divided pointillism appeared in paintings. As the new impressionist in 19C used the divided pointillism to express their color theory in more effective way, their method was based on the color theory and this was examined to compare the color expression side of the impressionist and the new impressionist with Eugene Delacroix. The impressionist and the new impressionist, who adapted the color theory to be combined with the scientific thoughts in those days and opposed with the past ideal color expression to paintings, analyzed the color of the visible spectrum and tried to express the instant color changing mementarily. Nevertheless, for this researcher's expression method, the color point is shown as formative elements, color is shown as the substance appearing through combination and contrast at my discretion and points are used for the formative elements showing colorful nuance. Such expression method expressed "an image of potential energy" with a substance which can be shown distinctively. All materials possess energy, that are visible and have potential energy, and their image were expressed with acrylic colors on canvas through rhythm, motion, folw and furious movements. It can be said that the works indicated here are to be a base of which will be studied continually and indicate the direction of this researcher's production and study on works.
