유아의 적목구성놀이에 관한 사례연구

Abstract

본 연구는 3, 4, 5세 유아들이 나타내는 적목구성의 종류와 발달양상을 분석하여 적목놀이에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적하에 본 연구에서 다루고자하는 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 3, 4, 5에 유아들이 나타내는 적목구성의 종류는 어떠한가? 2. 3, 4, 5세 유아들이 나타내는 적목구성의 발달양상은 (a)적목구성에 소요된 시간, (b)적목구성에 사용된 적목의 수,(c)적목구성물의 구조면에서 어떠한가? 연구대상은 서울시내에 위치한 Y대학 부설유치원에 다니고 있는 만3, 4, 5세 유아 각 10명씩 총 30명으로 하였다. 연구도구로 단위적목을 사용하였다. 사용한 단위적목의 형태 및 양은 Hirsh가 제시한 기준에 의거하였다. 연구과정은 사전연구에서 발견된 문제점을 보완한 후 본 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 단위적목이 준비된 실험실에서 적목놀이를 하도록 하였다. 연령에 따라 나타나는 적목구성의 종류 및 발달양상은 유아들이 구성한 적목구성물을 사진촬영하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 유아들이 나타낸 적목구성의 종류는 총 10가지로 나타났다. 3세 유아는 6종류, 4세 유아는 4종류를, 5세 유아는 5종류의 구성물을 나타냈다. 3, 4, 5세 유아 모두 길만들기와 집만들기를 많이 하였으며, 높은 연령일수록 빌딩이나 비행기같은 더 발달된 적목구성물을 나타냈다. 2. 유아들이 나타낸 적목구성은 연령에 따라 발달하는 양상을 나타냈다. (a) 유아들이 적목구성에서 소요한 시간은 연령에 따라 증가하였다. (b) 유아들이 적목구성에서 사용한 적목의 수는 연령에 따라 증가하였다. (c) 적목구성물의 구조는 연령에 따라 단순한 구조에서 복합적인 입체구조로 발달하였다.;The purpose of this study was the analysis of the kinds of block buildings and the developmental pattern of block buildings. The research questions for this study are as follows 1. What kinds of block buildings preschool children have? 2. What are the developmental pattern of block buildings: (a) a spending-time on block buildings, (b) a number of using blocks, and (c) a structure of block buildings? The subjects were 30 preschool children, three, four and five years of age from campus laboratory school. For the block buildings, unit blocks were given. And the block buildings were photographed and analyzed according to research questions. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The number of block buildings were totally 10 kinds; three0years0old children showed 6 kinds, four-years-old children 4 kinds and five-years-old children 5 kinds. All children built the road and the house the most. 2. The spending-time on the block buildings and the number of using blocks are increased, and the structure of block buildings showed simple pattern to complex as by the age increase.
