墨과 色에 의한 內的 image 表現

Abstract

藝術活動을 外的對象과 內的衝動과의 辦證法的 決定에 의한 表現的 活動이라고 보면 끊임없는 過程의 硏究를 통해 表現된 藝術作品은 固定觀念에 對抗하여 潛在된 感性이나 衝動을 끌어내어 藝術的 自發性을 回復시켜 놓는다. 따라서 藝術은 그 自體로서 自律的으로 內在하는 意味를 지니게되며 表現을 이루는 造形媒體에 의해 具體化되는 것이라 할 수 있다. 本 硏究는 그러한 自發的인 內的衝動과 自律性에 立脚한 外的要素들과의 相互依存的 關係에서 藝術的 價値를 發見하려는 意圖로서 墨과 色이라는 感覺的 媒體를 통해 內的인 精緖들의 image를 追求하고 現代的 美感에 맞는 造形을 이끌어 내고자 하였다. 특히 東洋畵에 있어서의 墨은 性格上 精神性이 강한 材料로써 認識되어져 왔었다고 볼 수 있어 造形的인 과감한 實驗이 터부시되어져 왔던것이 사실이었다. 그러한 문제점을 克服하기 위하여 墨의 表現에서 나타나는 抽象的 特徵을 받아들여 作業에서의 意味를 새롭게 하고자 하였다. 또한 感情의 直接傳達에 效果的인 色彩를 硏究함으로써 主觀的인 表現의 可能性을 찾고자 하였으며 墨의 表現特徵과 色彩의 調和에 따라 造形의 純粹 自律的 意志에 가까운 抽象的形態를 취하였다. 이러한 內容을 바탕으로한 內的 image의 追求는 自由로운 精神活動의 一部로서 具體的이고 實體的이며 視覺的인 反應을 示唆하여 無限한 繪畵의 可能性을 열어주는 役割과 함께 表現上의 主題를 이루는 것이다. 따라서 本人의 經驗的 思考를 바탕으로 展開된 作品들은 純粹繪畵의 獨自的인 表現言語를 갖는 內容과 形式으로 提示되어질 것이며 人間 內面의 意識世界를 살피려는 意圖로서 接近해 보고자 한 努力의 結果物들이다.;Art is the expressing activity by means of dialectic decision between external idea and internal drive. And the artistic works, which are expressed through ceaseless investigation of processes, take out the potential emotion and drive against a fixed idea and recover the artistic spontaneity of them. Therefore art has an immanent significance in itself and could be concretized with formative media. In this thesis I intended to discover artistic values in interindependence among external elements based on such spontaneous internal drive and independence. For this I tried to get out the suitable models for modern artistic sense and sought images of internal emotion through the sensuous media of Indian ink and color. In particular I accepted the abstract distinction of Indian ink and enlarged its significance as a main element. I expressed the most effective color for representing the emotion directly, in condition of empathy which is experienced objectively in subject. And I took the closest abstract model to the purely free will, based on harmony of such elements. To searching for internal images like this suggests just concrete, practical and visual reaction because it is a part of free mental activity. In addition it plays a role to open indefinite possibilities of painting and accomplished the theme. So, my works, which expressed my thoughts come from real experiences, would be presented in the text and form of my original expressing method of pure painting, and be investigated through searching for internal consciousness.
