유치원 자녀를 둔 아버지 역할에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 청주시에 거주하며 유치원 자녀를 둔 아버지를 대상으로 아버지 역할 및 교육 프로그램에 대한 인식과 아버지 역할을 실제로 수행하고 잇는 정도를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이의 목적을 위해 설정한 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 아버지 역할에 대한 인식의 정도는 어떠한가? 2. 아버지 역할을 실제로 수행하고 있는 정도는 어떠한가? 3. 아버지 교육 프로그램의 경험과 인식은 어느 정도 인가? 이상의 문제를 연구하기 위하여 관계되는 문헌을 참고로 작성한 질문지로 362명의 유치원 아버지를 대상으로 조사 하였다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS에 의해 전산처리 하였으며 아버지의 연령, 학력, 직업, 가정의 월평균 수입, 종교에 따라 각 문항별로 변량분석 (one-way ANOVA) 하였다. 본 연구의 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 아버지의 역할에 대한 인식을 변인 별로 보면, 1) 연령에 따른 아버지 역할의 인식에는 유의한 차가 없다. 2) 학력에 따른 아버지 역할의 인식에는 대학원 이상의 학력에서 '자녀의 질문에 응답 해 주는 역할', '사회 전통 및 가치관 확립을 돕는 역할', '자신'의 감정과 성에 대해 이해 하도록 돕는 역할'과 '사회 변화의 적응과 아동의 이해를 위해 독서하는 역할'에 유의한 차가 있다. 3) 직업에 따른 아버지 역할의 인식에는 전문직의 아버지가 '자녀의 질문에 응답 해 주는 역할', '자신의 감정과 성에 대해 이해 하도록 돕는 역할'에, 관리직의 아버지가 '사회 전통 및 가치관 확립을 돕는 역할'에 비숙련직의 아버지는 '간단한 물건의 구매방법을 가르치는 역할'에서 유의한 차를 나타냈다. 4) 수입에 따른 아버지의 역할의 인식에는 40만원 이하의 아버지가 '간단한 물건의 구매방법을 가르치는 역할'에서 유의한 차를 나타냈다. 5) 종교에 따른 아버지 역할의 인식에는 불교의 아버지가 '사회 전통 및 가치관 확립을 돕는 역할'에서 유의한 차를 나타냈다. 2. 아버지 역할의 실제 수행을 변인별로 보면, 1) 연령에 따른 아버지 역할의 실제 수행에는 '휴일에 가족과 함께 지내는 역할'에서 31-35세의 아버지가 유의하게 높은 반면 41세 이상의 아버지에세서는 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 2) 학력에 따른 아버지 역할의 실제 수행에는 유의한 차가 없다. 3) 직업에 따른 아버지 역할의 실제 수행에는 유의한 차가 없다. 4) 가정의 월 평균 수입에 따른 아버지 역할의 실제 수행에는 61-80만원의 아버지가 '애정과 관심을 표현하는 역할'에, 101만원 이상의 아버지는 '휴일에 가족과 함께 지내는 역할'에서 유의한 차를 나타냈다. 5) 종교에 따른 아버지 역할의 실제 수행에는 종교가 불교인 아버지가 '위인들에 관한 이야기를 들려주는 역할'에서 유의한 차를 나타냈다. 3. 아버지 교육 프로그램의 경험과 인식에 있어서 자녀 교육에 관한 지식은 습득한 경험이 있었고, 부모회에는 직장에 지장만 없다면 참석 하겠다고 하였다. 아버지도 자녀 교육에 관한 지식이 꼭 필요하며 그 이유는 자녀는 기르는데 필요한 지식이기 때문으로 밝혔다.;Fathers who live in Chungju city and have children attending kindergarten were selected for this study. The aim of this study is to see the percept of father's role and educational program, and the degree to which they really perform their roles. The study questions set for this study are as follows : 1. How do they recognize their role as fathers ? 2. How do they practice their role ? 3. How do they experience and recognize the educational program for fathers ? The research subjects for this study were 362 fathers who have children attending kindergarten. The questionnaires developed by the researcher based on the review of the literature used for this study. The data was processed by SPSS and was analyzed according to variations of father's age, academic background, occupation, monthly income, and religeon by one-way ANOVA. The result of this survey was summarized as follows : 1. The recognition of father's role according to variables- 1) In the recognition of father's role by age, there is no meaningful difference. 2) In the recognition of father's role by academic back-ground, fathers with academic background of over graduate school show a meaningful difference in the role of answerring the children's questions, and helpping the value clarification and understanding social tradition, helpping the understanding their own emotion and sex, and reading books for understanding children and for adaptting their to the change society. 3) In the recognition of father's role by occupation, fathers with professional occupation show a meaningful difference in the role of answerring the children's questions, and helpping the understanding their own emotion and sex; fathers with managerial occupation in the role of helpping the value clarification and the Understanding social tradition; fathers with unskilled job in the role of teaching the way how to buy necessaries. 4) In the recognition of father's role by monthly income, fathers earning less than 400,000 won a month show a meaningful difference in the role of teaching the way how to buy necessaries. 5) In the recognition of father's role by religeon, Buddhist fathers show a meaningful difference in the role of helpping the value clarification and understanding social tradition. 2. The real performance of father's role according to variables - 1) In the real performance of father's role by age, fathers who are 31 - 35 years old show a meaningful difference in the role of spending the holiday with their family. 2) In the real performance of father's role by academic background, there is no meaningful difference. 3) In the real performance of father's role by occupation, there is no meaningful difference. 4) In the real performance of father's role by a monthly income of home, fathers earning 610,000 - 800,000 won a month show a meaningful difference in the role of expressing love and concern: fathers earning more than 1,010,000 won in the role of spending the holiday with their family. 5) In the real performance of father's role by religeon, Buddhist fathers show a meaningful difference in the role of telling the children a story of great men. 3. The recognition and experience of the educational program for fathers are as follows : Fathers had some experience of having been received parent education, and recognized parent education as a part of fosterring young children. They showed opinions that they would attend the parents meeting within the limit of not being disturbed their. works. Fathers recognized that it would be necessary to acquire children education because it was a part and parcel to bring up their children.
