마가의 수난신학에 대한 한 연구

Abstract

마가의 수난설화를 중심으로 한 본 연구는 구성비평을 통해 마가의 기본적 관심이 수난신학에 있음을 밝히고자 한다. 전승과 편집간의 수직적 차이에 집중하는 기존의 편집비평이 마가복음서 연구에 갖고 있는 한계를 극복하고자 최근 새로이 제기된 구성비평은 마가가 단순한 편집자나 수정가가 아니라 일종의 창조적인 저자로서 그의 저술을 구성했다고 본다. 마가복음서 전체에서 발견되는 마가의 문학적 구성작업은 그의 복음서가 통전적인 작품이며, 마가의 신학이 수난신학임을 보여 준다. 마가의 구성기술은 그의 수난신학이 크게 두 가지 주제에 집중되고 있음을 말해 준다. 첫째는 수난의 메시야라는 예수의 정체와 관련되며, 그 둘째는 고난과 섬김의 제작직에 대한 이해이다. 마가는 자신의 독특한 구성방식을 통해 양 주제를 불가분 결합시키며, 양 주제를 통해 자신의 수난신학을 강조한다. 구성비평적으로 볼 때, 마가의 수난신학은 수난설화에서 그 절정을 이룬다. 수난설화는 마가의 문학적 구성의 특징과 그의 수난신학의 특성이 극명하게 드러나는 부분이다. 수난설화에서, 마가가 각각의 등장인물에게 설정한 역할의 대비와 십자가 장면은 영광과 능력을 통해서가 아니라 수난을 통해서야 예수의 진정한 정체가 드러난다는 것을 말해 준다. 마찬가지로, 마가의 공동체와 관련이 있는 것으로 보이는 지리적 구조의 대비와 남자제자 / 여자제자간의 대비 역시, 진정한 제자직은 영광과 다스림을 통해서가 아니라 고난과 섬김을 통해서 성취된다는 것을 말해 준다. 이로써, 마가는 예수 자신의 수난사건을 마가공동체의 정황과 관련시켜서, 독자로 하여금 수난과 섬김의 메시야를 따르는 고난과 섬김의 제자직을 받아 들이도록 한다.;This thesis deals with the Markan Passion Narrative. Adopting a new methodology suggested in the recent studies on Mark, I argue that Mark basically focuses on Passion Theology. According to the methodology called the Composition Criticism, Mark is not simply an editor or corrector, but a creative writer. Mark's literary work of composition found in the whole Mark tells us that his Passion Theology mainly concentrates on two aspects. First, Messiah of the passion as the identity of Jesus. Second, the understanding on the discipleship of suffering and service. The Markan Passion Narrative emphasized by this two themes culminated in Passion Narrative. The Markan Passion Narrative is where Mark's characteristics of literary composition and of Passion Theology are clearly discovered. He intended to emphasize his paradoxical content of theology by paradoxical composition of narrative. In the Passion Narrative, the contrast with the roles of the each figure and the scene of cross which are imposed by Mark, tells us that only through the Passion, the real identity of Jesus can reveal to us. Similary, the contrast with geographical composition which seems related to the Markan Community, and the contrast between man and woman disciple firmly direct this point: A real discipleship can only be achieved not by the glorification and reign but by the sufferings and services. By this, Mark enables us to accept this paradox, sufferings and services, which result from the passion event of Jesus, himself throughly interpreted by the situation of the Markan Community.
