여가선택행동이 가정생활만족도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 주부들의 사회인구통계학적 변인인 주부의 연령, 교육수준, 남편의 직업, 가정소득, 주거 형태, 가족생활주기와 심리내적변인인 생활양식을 고려하여 주부의 여가선택행동과 그에 따른 가정생활만족도를 분석하고자 한다. 나아가 이에 영향을 미치는 제 변인들의 영향력을 파악함으로써 주부들에게 보다 합리적이고 바람직한 여가선택행동을 유도하고 그로 인해 가정생활에 대한 만족도를 증진시킬수 있는 기초자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 위하여 본 연구에서 제기된 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회인구통계학적 변인 및 심리내적 변인에 따라 주부들의 여가선택행동은 차이가 있는가. 둘째, 사회인구통계학적 변인 및 심리내적 변인에 따라 주부들의 가정생활만족도는 차이가 있는가. 세째, 주부들의 여가선택행동과 가정생활만족도는 어떤 관계가 있는가. 넷째, 주부들의 여가선택행동 및 가정생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인들의 독립적인 영향력은 어떠한가. 이상의 연구문제를 파악하기 위하여 연구모형을 설정하고 측정도구를 작성하였으며 이를 검증하기 위하여 실증조사를 실시하였다. 실증조사의 연구대상은 유의적표본추출방법(Purposive Sampling)에 의해 서울시에 거주하는 비취업주부 500명을 선정하였고 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집한 후 분석하였다. 예비조사와 본조사를 실시하여 얻은 자료는 빈도분석, 백분율, χ^(2) ◁원본([P037]이화여-06830-00000008.TIF) 빠짐▷ 넷째, 주부들의 여가선택행동에 영향을 미치는 제 변인들의 독립적인 영향력을 분석한 결과 생활양식유형이 큰 영향을 미쳤으며, 주부의 교육수준, 가정소득, 주부의 연령도 주부들의 여가선택행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주부들의 가정생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 제 변인들의 독립적인 영향력을 분석한 결과 가정소득을 비롯하여 '자기개발적 여가' 활동참여가 가장 큰 영향력을 미쳤으며, '가정지향적 여가' 활동 참여, 남편의 직업, 주부의 연령의 순으로 주부의 가정생활만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 볼 때, 본 연구에서 주부의 여가선택행동에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 변인은 생활양식유형이며, 주부의 가정생활 만족도에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 변인은 가정소득을 비롯한 '자기개발적 여가' 활동참여로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 주부자신이 보다 적극적인 삶을 영위하려는 긍정적이고 진취적인 태도를 가지고 자기를 발전시키고 개발할 수 있는 (actualized) 여가활동에 적극적으로 참여할수록 가정생활만족도가 증진된다는 것을 시사해 준다.;The purpose of this study was to examine the leisure choice behavior and family life satisfaction. Furthermore, this study was also to examine the effect of the socio-demographic characteristics and life-styles on the housewives' leisure choice behavior and family life satisfaction. For this purpose, questionnaire is given to the housewives who are lived in Seoul. Frequency, Percentile, ANOVA, Cluster Analysis, Pearson's Correlation, Multiple Regression Analysis were used in analysis of the data. The summary of research results is as follows: 1. There were significant differences in the housewives' leisure choice behavior according to the age, education, husbands' occupation, household income, family life cycle, type of residents and life-styles. 2. There were significant differences in the family life satisfaction according to the age, education, husbands' occupation, household income, family life cycle, type of residents and life-styles. 3. There were significantly positive-correlation between housewives' leisure choice behavior and family life satisfaction. Specially, self-actualized leisure activity participation was shown to be higher correlation coefficient (r = .483, p 〈 .001). 4. The result of analysis the independent contribution of the factors in affecting the housewives' leisure choice behavior is that in order of increasing contribution the factors are life-styles, housewives' education, household income, housewives' age. 5. The result of analysis the independent contribution of the factors in affecting the family life satisfaction is that in order of increasing contribution the factors are income, self-actualized leisure activity participation, family-centered leisure activity participation, husbands' occupation, housewives' age. In summary, the most-important variable in influencing the housewives' leisure choice behavior is the life-styles. And, the most important variable in influencing the family life satisfaction is the self-actualized leisure activity participation and household income. Such results indicate that the more housewives have positive attitude about life and attend to actualized leisure choice behavior, the more family life satisfaction is improved. Based on the study's conclusions and its limitations, the recommendation can be made : 1. By considering leisure restriction factor like time-budget and various leisure behavior in evaluating the leisure choice behavior of the housewives, clear and detail leisure choice behavior of the housewives have to estimated. 2. In evaluating the differences between leisure choice behavior and family life satisfaction of the housewife, the study that is considered psychological characteristics like the values of the housewives or personality, except life-styles as a psychological characteristics, have to be attempted. 3. Identifying the causal relationships of all the variables which affect to the leisure choice behavior and family life satisfaction is needed.
