개인 소장자료의 데이터베이스 시스템설계 및 구현에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 현재 이용자들에게 많이 사용되는 개인장서의 효과적인 정리 및 이용을 위해 컴퓨터를 이용한 개인 데이터베이스 시스템을 설계한다. 이 시스템에서 사용된 컴퓨터는 현재 가장 널리 사용되는 IBM PC-AT와 10MB 의 하드디스크를 이용한다. 사용 소프트웨어는 서지자료처리에 적합하다고 판단되는 마이크로컴퓨터용 DBMS인 dBASE Ⅲ이다. 또한 컴퓨터에 대한 지식이 없는 사람도 쉽게 사용하도록 모든 처리내용은 간결한 항목으로 표현하고, 그 항목 번호를 선택하게 하는 메뉴방식을 채택한다. 시스템의 기능은 입력, 갱신, 검색, 출력으로 나뉜다. 입력은 최초로 자료를 입력하거나 새로운 자료가 생겼을때 추가 입력하는 것을 말한다. 각 데이터는 고정장필드로 이루어진 입력포맷에 의해 입력되게 된다. 갱신은 잘못 입력된 데이터를 수정하거나 불필요한 데이터를 삭제하기 위한 기능이다. 메인메뉴를 통해 입력번호로 찾는 것을 원칙으로 하며, 입력이나 검색 도중에도 갱신할 수 있도록 한다. 검색은 개인 데이터베이스 시스템에서 가장 중요한 기능으로, 이 시스템에서는 입력번호, 저자명, 서명 및 키워드로 검색될 수 있게 한다. 특히. 각 필드의 내용과 검색 내용이 완전히 일치되지 않을 때에도 검색되게 하여 이용의 편리를 돕는다. 출력은 화면상의 출력과 프린터에 의한 출력 모두가 가능하며, 몇가지의 출력포맷을 준비하고 있다. 이러한 기능을 가진 개인 데이터베이스 시스템은 메뉴방식으로 제작되어 사용이 간편하고, 색인작성 시간이 절약되며, 입력번호, 저자, 서명, 키워드 등의 다양한 검색요소로 검색된다는 특성을 가짐으로서, 개인소장자료의 이용에 도움을 주게된다.;This research is to design a personal database system with the microcomputer that compensates many deficineces of manual index system. The computer used in designing this system is the popular IBM PC-AT with it's excellent convertability and l0MB hard disc. The program is made with the dBASEⅢ suitable to bibliographic application. In this system, to use easily for lay-man on computer, every commands are made with simple statement and it can be selected in Menu-driven mode. The functions of this system consist of Input, Update, Retrievl, and Print. Input is the function which makes an object to the monographies and the articles which are involved the first inputting data and adding the new data. Each of these data is input by input format composed of Fixed-Length Field. Update involves the functions to correct the in- putting wrong data and to delete the needless data. Update can be approached by input number. Retrieval is the most important function in personal database system and can be retrieved by input number, author name, title, keyword in this system. Print involves output on screen and output by printer. Every output is displayed by print format.
