졸업연주회 프로그램을 중심으로 한 W. A. Mozart, F. Schubert, H. Duparc, B. Britten, R. Leoncavallo의 성악작품에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 프로그램에 대한 연주로써 각 작곡가들의 성악곡에 대한 음악적인 배경과 특징에 대해 알아보았으며 작품의 분석은 형식, 선율, 화성, 리듬, 가사와의 관련성 등을 중심으로 다루었다. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart(1756~1791)는 고전파 양식을 확립시킨 대표적인 작곡가이다. 그의 Concert Aria, K. 217은 기악적인 형식을 보이며 극적인 요소가 강조되어 있다. 화려한 Scale처리, Tempo의 변화 등이 음악적으로 잘 조화되어 Mozart 음악의 진수를 보여주는 작품이다. Franz Schubert(1797~1828)의 "Der Hirt auf dem Felsen", Op. 129는 그가 Clarinet Obligatto를 사용한 유일한 곡이다. Piano 반주는 성악 성부를 단순히 뒷받침하는 반면 Clarinet은 성악성부의 선율을 교대로 연주하거나 또는 같이 연주하도록 되어있다. Henri Duparc(1848~1933)의 세개의 가곡은 프랑스 시의 아름다움을 신선하게 표현하였다. 그리고 선율은 색채적인 역할을 담당하는 피아노부와 함께 반음계적으로 진행하여 환상적인 분위기를 느끼게 한다. Benjamin Britten(1913~1976)은 20세기 초, 중반까지 활동한 영국의 대표적인 작곡가이다. 그의 <On this island>는 피아노 반주에 의한 첫번째 연가곡으로 특징적인 선율과 리듬이 반복되거나 변형되어 구성된다. 이태리 작곡가 Ruggiero Leoncavallo(1858~1919)의 Opera <I Pagliacci>는 그의 대표작이라 할 수 있다. "Stridono Lassu`"는 <I Pagliacci> 1막에 나오는 Nedda의 아리아로서 화려한 Ballatel la 이다.;Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was a representative composer of the classical period. The Concert Aria, K.217 of Mozart shows the instrumental musical style of Rondo Aria, and the dramatic element is stressed. Through the handling of fine scale and variety of tempo, this is the work which shows the essence of the beauty Mozart's music and the brightness of the classical age. Franz Schubert (1797-1828) is among the greatest Lied camposer of all times. "Dler Hirt auf dem Felsen, Op.129" is the one that has a clarinet obligatto. It is formed in three parts, A-B-C. The final allegretto is buoyant coloratura; voice and clarinet vie in a joyful welcome to the spring. In the melodies of Henri Duparc (1848-1933), the piano part can be found which the beat according to the rhythm of poem and the musical atmosphere, the use of freely changed harmony, and according to the procession of melody of song, the piano part has both poetic and colorful importance. Benjamin Britten (1913-1976) is one of the great composer of England in the 20th century. "On this island" set to the poems by W.H. Auden is his first song cycle with piano accompaniment. The cycle has a compositional unity by repeating or transforming specific melody and rhythm in each of the songs. Ruggiero Leoncavallo (1858-1919) was Italian composer of Opera. His "I Pagliacci" is the classic of the school of verismo Aria "Stridono Lassu" which is an Nedda's aria is act I, employed a syncopation and dramatic melody line.
