정신지체아동과 정상아동의 시지각 형태식별력에 관한 일 연구

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to investigate the visual Form Discrimination both of the mentally Retarded and normal using Gibson's Artificial graphic form which children a remidial learning for letter discrimination in order to make an education effective, and to make known widely the knowledge of the visual form discrimination in School. Seventy subjects were studied and they had been selected through the results of non-verbal I.Q. test. One group were Consisted of 35 educable mentally retarded mental aged from 4 to 7. The tasks were 12 cards of Gibson's artificial graphic form. The test procedure was the multiple-choice matching task and carried individually. For statistical analysis of the data, ANOVA and t-test were operated. The results of the study are as follows; First, two groups showed significant differences in performence of visual form discrimination to aged and varients. Second, significant differences were found in performance of visual form discrimination to aged and varients for E.M.R. Thrid, significant differences were found in performance of visual form discrimination to aged and varients for normal.;보편적으로 아동들이 시각적 구별을 하는 것은 형태에 대한 지각에서 비롯된다. 따라서 형태지각에 문제가 있는 아동은 학령기가 되어 학교생활에 접하게 되면 시지각을 필요로 하는 모든 활동에서 어려움을 겪게 되는 것이다. 본 연구는 교육가능급 정신지체아동과 정상아동의 시지각 형태식별력( VisuaI Form Discrimination) 에 대한 인식을 넓히고 교수전략에 도움을 주기의한 목적으로 Gibson의 도식형태(Artificial Graphic Form)를 통해 정신지체아동과 정상아동의 시지각 형태식별력을 연구하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 비언어성 지능검사 결과 정신연령이 4세에서 7세인 교육가능급 정신지체아동들과 정상아동들이며 각 집단인원수는 각각 35명씩 모두 70명의 아동들이다. 검사도구는 Gibson이 선행연구한 알파벳변형형태에서 선택하여 구성한 도식형태카드들이다. 검사절차는 같은 것 찾기과제(multiple-choice-to sample matching Task)로서 아동마다 개별적으로 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 정신지체아동과 정상아동의 시지각 형태식별력에 있어서 연령간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 2. 정신지체아동과 정상아동 및 시지각 형태식별력에 있어서 변형형태간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 3. 정신지체아동의 시지각 형태식별력에 있어서 연령간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 4. 정신지체아동의 시지각 형태식별럭에 있어서 변형형태간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 5. 정상아동의 시지각 형태식별력에 있어서 연령간에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 6. 정상아동의 시지각 형태식별력에 있어서 변형형태간에 유의한 차이가 있었다.
