자연 이미지(image)의 율동적 표현

Abstract

인간에게는 끊임없이 자신의 존재나 감정을 나타내고자 하는 욕망이 있다. 이러한 욕망은 무엇인가를 표현하고자 하는 조형활동으로 이어졌을 때 미술 곧 조형예술이 되는 것이다. 이러한 조형활동은 시대와 작가의 개성에 따라 그 표현방법과 양식이 변하여 왔다. 즉, 종래 미술의 대상의 외형적 묘사에서 현대에는 작가 자신을 주장하고 내적세계의 표현을 중시하는 경향으로 변하고 있으며 염색공예 역시 조형예술의 한 분야로 그러한 추세의 양상이 두드러져 나타나고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이와같이 모든 예술가들이 저마다의 주장에 따라 자신을 표현함으로서 새로운 방법과 형태를 추구하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구자는 자연이미지 (image)를 율동적으로 형상화하여 생명력있는 새로운 세계를 표현하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 이론적 배경에서 자연, 율동, 표현의 개념을 문헌을 통해 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로하여 호방염법으로 호료(밀가루) 6점의 작품을 제작하였고 그 결과 다음의 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 현대의 조형활동은 시대나 작가의 주관에 따라 대상은 물론 표현방법이나 양식이 독창적으로 되어가고 있다. 둘째, 끊임없이 생동하는 자연은 추상적 형상화에 적절한 소재였다. 셋째, 추상적 형태를 율동적으로 표현함에 있어서 호방염기법으로 생긴 크랙의 불규칙성은 자연 이미지 (image)의 추상적 표현에 적절한 기법이었다. 본 연구자는 계속적인 창작활동으로 보다 발전된 조형세계를 추구하고자 한다.;In a human being, there exists a desire intended to ceaselessly express one's being or enotion. When this desire is connected to the formative activity to express something that is just the arts or the formative arts. This formative activity has changed in its methods and patterns of expression according to the era and character of the artist. That is to say, rather than an outward description of the existing fine arts, it is a reality that has been inclined to a tendency to lay an importance on expressing an inner world jointly together with the artist's assertion, and simultaneously, dyeing handicraft also, as a field of formative art, manifests conspicuously an aspect of such a trend. Every artist pursues new methods and patterns by expressing oneself according to one's assertions. Therefore, this researcher has set forth the purpose to represent a vital new world through figuring rhythmically the very image produced by spontaneous spiritual activities that own mutually different experiences and interpretations. For this purpose, literature review was done about concepts of nature, rhythm and expression, and on the basis of literature review, six pieces of works were produced by patick Dye technique and follow conclusions were obtained as a result. Firstly, the formative activity of the modern age has, according to the era or the subjectivity of artist, creatively influenced on the object, of course, as well as its expressive method or the pattern. Secondly, the endlessly springing nature was an adequate material in shaping something abstractly. Thirdly, in expressing rhythmically an abstract forms, the irregularity of crack formed with "Patick" Dye was an adequate technique for abstract expression of natural image. Therefore, this researcher intends to further pursue a more advanced formative world with continuous creative activities.
