음악감상시의 시각적 Image, 정서반응, 주제반응간의 관계연구

Abstract

This is a study on visual image, emotional reaction and associated idea which is resulted by auditory image in the course of music appreciation, Contents of the study are as follows : 1. Selection of a picture, visual image for auditory image, music, 2. Emotional reaction t o auditory image of music. 3. Associated ideas with auditory image. 4. Examing visual image according to auditory image of instrumental music. 5. To write the most favorite song or instrumental music. 6. Children's attitude of listening to music, Six articles listed above are performed considering various elements; region, sex, musical instruments and circumstances at home, musical accomplishment capability and interests in music, remarks of music and fine arts in school, ete. The results were a s follows; 1. The proper selection of visual image, picture, for auditory image, music, was inclined to be more in accordance with the contents of music in boys and better musical surroundings than in girls and poor surroundings. Centralization of selection to the same picture for music was found i n most of the both rural and urban students. 2. The emotional reaction and associated ideas for the auditory image were in correlation with good musical facilities, grade and accomplishments. By sexual difference, boys responded well to the visual image and girls to the emotional reaction, respectively. 3. The association of ideas on music turned out to have more close relation to the nature of music. Also more association was found in urban students and boys than in rural students and girls, respectively. 4. The songs on the music textbook gave less interests to the both rural and urban students than the folksongs and popular songs. And urban students could have more opportunities to be in contact with various kind of music. 5. Most of the students could imagine something in their minds and appreciate with feeling for music. Quite a bit of both rural students and boys had no feeling during appreciation of music.;본 연구는 도시, 시골 국민학교 6학년 학생 223명을 대상으로 음악 감상시 그 음악의 청각적 Image에 따라 나타나는 시각적 Image, 정서 반응 및 연상되는 주제반응을 질문지를 통하여 조사하였다. 본 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 1. 음악의 청각적 Image에 따라 시각적 Image가 어떻게 나타나는지 연상되는 그림을 고르게 하여 그 반응을 살펴 본다. 2. 음악의 청각적 Image에 따라 정서반응이 어떻게 나타나는지를 살펴 본다. 3. 음악의 청각적 Image에 따라 연상되는 주제(언어)반응이 어떻게 나타나는지를 살펴 본다. 4. 음악의 청각적 Image에 따라 시각적 Image가 어떻게 나타나는지 글로써 써보게 하며 반응을 살펴 본다. 5. 좋아하는 노래나 기악곡을 제시하게 하여 그 성향을 살펴 본다. 6. 음악을 들을 때의 태도에 대한 일반적인 반응을 살펴 본다. 이상과 같은 문제를 지역, 성별, 가정의 음악적 분위기, 시설, 본인의 음악적 소양, 능력과 흥미 등에 따라 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 음악의 내용에 맞는 시각적 Image의 선택은 여자보다는 남자에서, 또한 음악적 분위기가 좋을수록 더 일치되는 양상을 보였다. 또 도시, 시골학생 다같이 비교적 공통된 그림을 선택하는 경향을 보였다. 2. 음악의 청각적 Image에 따른 정서반응 및 주제반응은 음악적 시설, 음악성적 및 미술성적이 좋을수록, 음악적 소양이 높을수록 상관 관계가 높았으며, 또 음악을 완전히 이해하지 못했을때 낮은 상관관계를 보였다. 특히 정서반응은 여자에게서, 시각적 Image나 주제반응은 남자에게서 더 좋은 반응을 보였다. 3. 음악에 대한 연상반응은 그 음악의 성격과 내용에 비교적 가깝게 나타났으며 특히 시골보다 도시에서, 여자보다 남자에게서 더 잘 연상된 것으로 나타났다. 4. 교과서에 게재된 곡은 그렇치 않은 곡에 비해 관심도가 낮게 나타났으며 시골보다는 도시학생이 더 많은 종류의 음악과 접촉하고 있음이 나타났다. 5. 음악 감상태도는 지역, 성별에 관계없이 시각적 Image를 떠올리며 감정반응을 하면서 음악을 듣는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 아무런 느낌이 없다고 대답한 학생들도 시골과 남자에게서 적지않게 나타났다.
