Edgard Varese의 Integrales에 관한 작곡기법 연구

Abstract

Edgad Vare｀se는 20세기 음악에 있어서 새로운 차원을 이룩한 작곡가 중의 한 사람이며, 특히 그의 모든 관현악 작품에서 보여지는 창작 양식의 커다란 특징은 타악기군의 비중있는 취급으로 인하여 새로운 음향과 음색을 추구함으로써, 현대 음악에 크게 기여하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그의 대표작이라 할 수 있는 「Inte′grales」를 통해서 그의 작곡 기법적 특징을 認識하기 위하여 첫째, 20세기 音樂의 다양한 양상을 통해 현대 음악의 경향을 考察하였으며, 둘째, 이러한 현대 음악의 배경 하에서 그의 창작 기법을 알아보았다. 세째, 「Inte′grales」의 分析을 통해 作曲 技法을 알아본 결과, 이 音樂은 간단한 주제 요소를 다양한 변주 기법으로 발전, 형성하였음을 인식할 수 있었다. 또한, 전통 악기로부터 電子 音樂의 산출과 騷音 효과를 추구함이 이 작품의 의도라 할 수 있겠다.;Edgard Varese is one of the composers who has created a new dimension in the twentieth century music. Especially, the major technical characteristic in all of his orchestral works, which is the emphasis on percussions, has contributed much to the modern music by pursuing a new sound and timbre. This thesis tries to perceive Vare｀se's technical characteristics with Inte´grales which could be called his major work. To perceive such, the study is done in following three steps: firstly, on the trends of the modern music by various aspects of the twentieth century music; secondly, with these backgrounds on the modern music, on his original techniques; and lastly, on the characteristics of his composing techniques through the analysis of Inte´grales. Thus, as a result, was able to perceive that this composition has developed various variation technique with just simple subject elements, Also may say that the aim of this work is the pursuing of the electronic sound and the cacophonous sound effect with the traditional instruments.
