天皇制 國家思想과 日本 基督敎敎育의 對決

Abstract

본 논문은 日本 基督敎 敎育의 現狀이 日本國民과 天皇制 國家 思想 사이의 의식적 유대관계를 간과하고 있다는 사실을 지적하는, 동시에 日本의 基督敎 敎育을 새롭게 조명하고자 하는 하나의 시도이다. 이 연구를 위해서는 文獻硏究를 채택하였다. 본 연구과제들은 E. Troelsch의 理論을 통해 일본 사회집단 유형을 고찰하고, 일본의 천황제 국가 사상과 기독교 교육의 대결되는 상황을 논의하며, 日本基督敎 敎育의 새로운 방향을 모색하려는 것이다. 천황제 국가 사상과 일본국민 사이에 놓여 있는 의식적인 유대관계를 분석함으로써 그 유대성의 근원에는 일종의 주술적(呪術的)인 현세적(現世的) 투쟁에 얽혀있는 지방적 민족적 고뇌를 밝혔다. 다만 이 사실은 비단 日本이라는 특수한 민족에 국한된 것이 아니라 모든 민족에게 있어서는 찾아 볼 수 있는 공통적인 점이라는 것이다. 천황제 국가 사상에 대립하는 일본기독교 교육에 있어서는 지적한 문제의식을 가지고 새로운 형태로 형성된 증인 공동체를 통해 일본국민의 인간관 및 사회의식과 역사의식을 근본적으로 변질 시키는 기능이 요구된다. 기독교 교육의 새로운 방향모색에 있어서 주술성(呪術性)에서의 해방, 인간성의 회복은 일본민족의 다양한 성향을 새롭게 변화시켜 개방된 미래에 自由를 갈구함으로서 歷史의 創造를 초래할 수 있다는 것이다. "하나님의 선교"에 참여하는 自由에의 完成에의 과제는 기독교 교육의 용기와 책임에 걸쳐 있다는 것이다.;This treatise is a study which is attempted to newly illuminate the present Japanese Christian Education, which up to now has been overlooked the conscious solidarity between the Japanese Nation and the Thought of Emperor System. According to E. Troelsch's theory about the formation of social group, we come to know that Japanese Nation and Society has been against Japanese Christianity. This fact can be explained together by the process of formation of Modern State. By the analysis of conscious solidarity between the Thought of Emperor System and Japanese Nation, I have found that its essence resulted from the national suffering entangled in: a certain magic power. This fact falls to not only a special nation, but to every nation. Therefore, here it will be studied, whether the present attribution of Japanese Christian Education is relevant to the characteristics of Japanese Nation, or not. In conclusion, I think there is responsibility and importance of Christian Education in participating in "Mission of God" which transacts the complex nationalities of Japan into new open humanity.
