Abstract
The purpose of this textbook is to help young EFL learners in Korea develop English writing skills. The textbook will be used in EFL classes at a private English language institute for first year students in middle school. In my textbook, I will use the following theoretical approaches: Process writing, and Genre-writing (Harmer, 2007). By studying this textbook, students will be able to recognize different types of writing and the language used in each genre such as e-mail, letter, and book review. Students will also be accustomed to the process of writing along with vocabulary and grammar learning. Writing in English is not an easy job for young students. Therefore, fun, interesting, and yet meaningful topics and activities will help the students to become naturally engaged with the content. This textbook will stimulate the students’ motivation, imagination, and creativity, and develop a love of writing in English.
