This problem shoul be solved by the decision of personage, and the decision of is to sacrifice his passion for his duty. The reason is that Rousseau thinks always that passion is good and viceless, not wrong nor vicious. This is the union of the passion and the nature in Rousseau. And is is the synthesis of Rousseau's thought.
