PSSC물리와 우리나라 고등학교 물리교과서의 비교 분석적 연구

Abstract

PSSC물리 1판과 2판, 1985학년도부터 사용되어 온 국내교과서 4종 8책을 중심으로, 그 내용의 구조를 조사 비교한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. PSSC물리는 기본법칙과 관계되는 부분, 즉, 광학과 파동, 역학, 전자기와 원자구조 등 물리학의 기본 개념을 중심적으로 다루었다. 2. 우리나라 교과서는 물리 Ⅰ과 물리 Ⅱ로 나누어, 물리 Ⅰ에서는 고등학교 문과생을 위한 기본적 개념을 중심으로 다루었으며, 물리 Ⅱ에서는 이과생을 위해 물리의 개념을 수식화하여 더 넓고 깊게 다루고 있다. 3. 실험은 국내 교과서와 PSSC물리 모두, 발견, 탐구 학습 방법을 주로하여 이루어져 있다. 4. 연습문제의 해답을 얻는 방법에 있어, 국내 교과서는 법칙과 공식을 적용하여 해답을 얻는 문제가 대부분이고, PSSC물리는 책상위에서, 실험실에서, 가정에서 할 수 있는 문제로 분류되어 있어서, 실험을 하여 해답을 얻는 문제가 우리 교과서 보다는 많이 있다.;This study is to analyze the books of 1st, 2nd edition on PSSC physics and four kinds of textbooks, published recently in 1985, on physics in Korea. The purpose of this study is to examine the structure in the contents of these books comparatively. The conclusions are as follows; 1. PSSC physics deal with the basic concepts consiting of optics, wave mecha-nics, mechanics, electroniagnetism, and atomic structure. These basic concepts are related with the fundamental theorem. 2. The textbooks in Korea are classified into two parts; Physics Ⅰ. physics Ⅱ. physics Ⅰ is focused on the basic conceps for high school students in the department of literature, while physics Ⅱ is treated with formulation of the conceps more comprehensively and deeply for high school students in the science department. 3. Experiments are consisted of not only the method of discovery study but also the method of inquirey study both PSSC physics and the textbooks in Korea. 4. It is investigated that there is a difference between PSSC physics and the text-books in Korea in the way of answering the questions about the exercises. The textbooks in Korea have many exercises seeking the answers by means of it's law and formula, while the excercises of PSSC physics are dominant mainly on seeking the answeres through many experiments on the desks, in the laboratory, and at home than the textbook in Korea.
