인테리어 소품 직물에 과한 연구

Abstract

현대의 사회구조와 생활 방실이 변천함에 따라 주거 공간은 인간의 휴식과 편리함을 제공하는 것으로 인식됨으로써 그 중요성이 더욱 증대되고 있다. 최근 지속적인 경제발전과 산업의 발달로 생활의 수준이 급격히 향상됨에 따라서 쾌적한 주거 공간에 대한 판심이 높아져 가고 있다. 이러한 관심은 자신만의 주거 공간을 독창적으로 꾸미기 위해 여러 가지 소재를 사용하게 한다. 그 중에서 직물은 부드러운 감촉과 다양한 색상으로 보다 나은 소재를 찾고있는 현대인에게 다양한 변화를 줄 수 있는 중요한 요소로 자리잡고 있다. 또한 직물은 실내 공간을 부드럽게 융화시켜 주는 실내 내장재로 많이 사용되고 있다. 근래에는 직물의 용도가 의복의 피복재로 뿐만 아니라 커텐이나 양탄자, 쿠션 등 실내 장식 제품 및 벽지 등의 건축 내장재, 침구류 등의 소재로 광범위해지고 있다. 선진국에서는 섬유 및 직물로 만들어진 제품의 용도 및 그 디자인이 미치는 효과들을 미리 예측하여 고급스럽고 다양한 직물 디자인과 소량 다품종 생산을 위한 수공예적인 직물 디자인 개발에 많은 연구하고 있다. 주거공간에서 사용되는 직물은 홈퍼니싱(home furnishing)으로 불려지고 있다. 홈퍼니싱에 속해 있는 어퍼스터리(upholstery) 직물은 3가지로 분류되는데 테이블 보(table cloth), 쇼파 커버(sofa covor), 쿠션(cushion)으로 구분된다. 이중에서 쿠션은 실내의 어떤 것 못지 않게 미적 가치와 실용적 가치를 동시에 수행할 수 있는 역할을 한다고 본다. 하지만 제품으로 지금까지 시중에 나와 있는 쿠션은 미적 가치보다는 실용성만을 내포하고 있는 것이 대부분이다. 쿠션만을 위한 디자인이라기 보다는 주로 쓰고 남은 천의 여유분을 사용해서 만들어진 것이 대부분인데 요즘 소비자들에게는 실내 분위기를 살릴 수 있는 독창적이고 미적인 쿠션의 요구도가 높아지고 있으나 이를 됫받침해 줄 만한 쿠션 소재가 미흡한 상황이다. 이에 획일적으로 복제되는 쿠션 직물을 개선하고 실내 분위기 연출에 도움이 될 수 있는 쿠션 작품을 제작하고자 한다. 쿠션이 사용될 주거 공간을 파악하기 위해 본 연구에서는 주거 공간과 실내장식용 직물과의 관계에서 주거 공간의 기능에 대해서 알아보고 실내 장식용 직물의 활용과 어퍼스터리 직물에 대해서 언급하고 쿠션의 기능성과 장식성에 대해 논하였으며 쿠션의 유래에서는 우리 나라 쿠션과 서양의 쿠션 유래에 대한 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 쿠션의 동향은 시장 조사를 통해서 현재 시중에 나와 있는 쿠션과 우리 나라 홈퍼니싱의 경향, 문제점을 조사, 분석하였다. 표현에 있어서 마리아 콜린스 리넨 기법(maria collin's linen weave)과 경사 페인팅(warp painting) 기법에 관한 여러 가지 샘플을 제작한 후에 이를 토대로 쿠션을 제작하였다. 조직에서 느낄수 있는 정교함과 경사 페인팅 기법을 사용했을 때의 회화적인 느낌을 이용하여 보다 독창적인 쿠션직물을 제작하고자 하였다.;As modern society structure and life style change, the significance of living space is increasing by offering human beings rest and convenience. According to the rapid improvement of life level with recent economic development and industrial evolution, interest in fresh living space is rising. This interest makes people use various materials to uniquely decorate their own living space. Among them, textile becomes to be an important factor which can give modern society demanding better quality a change with its softness and various colors. Also, Textile is being used as an interior material which harmonize interior space. With softness. Recently, the uses of textile are expanded from clothing to interior decoration material such as curtains, rugs, and cushions, and architectural material and bedding. In developed countries, they work on handicraft textile development for luxurious and diverse textile designs and small quantity and various kinds production, predicting the use of the products supposed to be made of fabric and textile and the effect of its design. Textiles for indoor use are generally called home fumishing. Upholstery textile belonging to home famishing are divided into three-table cloth, sofa cover and cushion. Among them, cushion is considered to play a role with both aesthetic and practical value. However, cushions in the market so far mostly include only practicality rather than aesthetic value. Most are made with design not just for cushion, but with the remnants of cloths, so today's consumers demand unique and aesthetic cushion which can go well with interior atmosphere. However, we lack cushion materials which can support that demand. Hereupon, I tried to produce a cushion work which can help improve unenforcedly copied cushions and present interior atmosphere. To grasp living space where cushions are to be used, this paper examines relation between living space and decorative textile, and the function of living space, and also comments on upholstery textile most of ten used in the use of textile in interior decoration and cushion, and discussed cushions decorative characteristic and function. In the origin of cushion, I did a theoretical examination on the origin of our country's cushion and the western cushion. Regarding the tendency of cushion, I searched and analyzed the inclination and problem of cushions in the market and our country's home fumishing through market research. In expression, I made several samples on Maria Collins Linen Weave and Warp painting. Skills and produced a cushion based on these. I attempted to produce more unique cushion textile using pictorial feelings affected by warp painting and the exquisiteness of formation.
