청각장애아 언어리듬의 향상을 위한 실험연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 청각장애아들이 일반아동과 같이 학습하고 생활해 나가기 위하여 무엇보다 먼저 요구되고 있는 명확한 발어교육에 있어서 그 중 한 요소가 되는 언어리듬의 향상을 위한 음악적 훈련과정을 제시하려는 데 있다. 현재 실시되고 있는 농교육의 교수방법은 여러 가지 문제점을 내포하고 있지만, 그 중에서도 특히 언어리듬 교육이라는 과제가 농교육 실무에 응용되기에는 아직 어려운 단계에 있다. 특히 일반아동의 언어리듬 학습은 대부분이 체험에 의한 습득인데 비하여 청각장애아는 이 체험이 극히 제한되어 있으므로 이의 부합되는 분은 학습으로 보완시켜야 하는 문제가 있다. 그래서 이 학습의 과정이 일반 아동을 위한 훈련 과정과는 달리, 농아에게 적합한 새로운 훈련과정이 되도록 시도하였다. 본 연구는 (i) 언어리듬에 관한 실험논문으로 임의 추출된 20명의 청각장애아를 대상으로 실시하였다. (ii) 먼저 대상아동에게 일반아동을 위한 방법으로 학습시켜 보고, 실제 응용상의 문제점을 알아 보았다. (iii) 다시 이 문제점을 보완하는 방법을 모색하는 과정을 피력함으로써 과학적인 리듬교육을 제시하고자 하였다. 결국, 일반아동과 같은 정상적인 언어능력을 청각장애아에게도 습득시키기 위하여 먼저 언어를 리듬 악보화하여야 한다. 그리고 언어리듬의 습득을 위하여서는 특별한 훈련, 즉 율동동작을 통한 리듬의 체험훈련이 필요하다. 이러한 훈련에 의해 리듬을 습득한 청각장애아동은 다른 종류의 언어리듬의 표현에도 특별한 응용능력을 나타냈었다. 이러한 결과로 보아 청각장애아에 대한 리듬훈련이 농교육에 있어서 언어습득에 중요한 부분을 차지한다는 것이 입증되었다.;Nowadays the aim of Korean oral education is based on restoration of normal language ability. But, in fact, pronunciation correction and sentence instruction are so chiefly emphasized that a curriculum, locking in the analystic aspect, is not suitable for the aim. At present we have not yet reached the stage, when language rhythm, especially, can be applied to oral education. Generally speaking, normal children can learn language rhythm from experience, For deaf children, however, the lack of experience caused by the auditory handicap requires that supplementary training be provided and the training method should be specifically designed to meet, the needs of the auditory handicapped children. This study includes; 1. A random sample of language rhythm of 20 deaf children. 2. Problems which resulted from using the training method for the normal hearing with the deaf children. 3. Renewed scientific rhythm training methods for the auditory handicapped, which to those problems are supplemental.
