現象 이미지 追究

Abstract

오늘날 현대미술에 있어서 새롭고 다양하게 추구되고 있는 形象은 인간 상황의 전반적인 현실의 이미지를 다룸으로써, 시각의 변모 그리고 감성의 변모를 가져오고 있다. 우리가 살고 있는 현대를 물질문명의 사회란 점에서 인식해 볼 때, 우리 주변에 존재하는 범상한 물질, 이런 事物의 이미지들은 극히 日常的인 느낌에서 우리의 관심영역을 벗어나 있다. 너무나 가까이 있기 때문에 관심의 영역에서 벗어나 있는 事物의 現象들에 관심을 환기시켜 보면, 우리는 인간과 세계와의 관계가 새롭게 열려지는 것을 발견할 수 있다. 현대 문명을 수용하고 열린 마음으로 바라보는 이러한 태도는, 극도로 인간적인 內面의 세계와 個性의 세계를 추구하던 추상표현주의에 반동으로 출발했던 일군의 Pop Art 작가들에게서 시작되어졌다. 그들은 內的 탐구의 미학이요, 인간의 深層의 표현이었던 추상의 內的으로의 지향 대신에, 外的 현실에 대한 새로운 자각으로 화면내에 日常的인 오브제와 이미지를 등장시켰다. 이제, 이러한 日常的인 현실의 이미지는 우리에게 새로운 해석과 만남으로 다가온다. 이에 본인은 우리의 日常的인 생활주변에서 흔히 담 가까이나 창문을 통해 보여지는 '빨래'의 形象을 통해, 어떤 순간에 보여지는 事物들의 現象이미지를 추구해 보고자 한다. 연구의 목적은 日常的인 事物의 現象을 표현해 나가면서, 화면내에서 이미지의 표현, 공간의 구성, 색채의 문제들을 탐구해 봄으로써, 본인 나름대로 새롭게 느껴 본 시각적 이미지를 전달하고자 하는 것이다. 본론에서는 이론적 기반으로, 내용면에서는 日常的인 이미지를 표현했던 작가들을 연구하였으며, 방법면에서는 표현에 있어 본인과 관련되는 작가들을 연구하면서 본인의 작품과 비교해 보았다. 그리고 본인의 작품을 분석해 나가면서 이론과 실재를 결부시켜 그 조형적인 탐구를 살펴보았다. 마지막으로, 결론에서는 그동안 연구했던 문제들을 정리해 보면서 앞으로의 방향을 모색함과 동시에, 보다 창조적인 회화세계를 정립해 보고자 하였다.;In modern painting the configuration which is been inquired, into a new and variable way, by dealing with the whole image of reality, has come to the transfiguration of visualization and sensitivity. When we look upon the present age as the age of material civilization, we can realize that we seldom notice an image, as common objects which exsists around. If we pay more attention to these phenomena of objects in our lives, we shall be able to discover a new sphere in our daily existence. So, I seek to newly recognize the phenomenon of object by an image of "laundary", which we often see in the space of life. The image of object which exists in the space appears in the form of light or wind and disappears into unmeasurable space, changing continuously. Therefore, I intend to explain the phenomenon of object at one moment and to get the element of "window" or "wall" to represent the space. The purpose of this study is this: Throught the quest of such an image's expression, space-composition and color-problem and by visual image expressed on my own thoughts. I aim at both new recognition of the phenomenon about us and detection of a poetic sentiment. In the main subject-part, in order to. form the theorical basis, I attempt to make a careful study of the artists who have ever dealt with an daily image of life in subject matter and ever used the expression similiar to mine in method, comparing their works with mine. In the work's analysis, I intend to detect the formative pursuit, linking the theory and the practice into closer relation with each other. In the conclusion-part, readjusting the questions which I have studied, I attempt to grope the course for the future and to establish my own creative painting-style.
