우리나라 올림픽 유니폼에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 먼저 올림픽과 우리나라와의 관계를 살펴봄으로 올림픽 대회의 중요성을 고찰한 다음, 유니폼의 구성요인을 연구하고, 유니폼의 디자인 계획에 필요한 디자인의 원리를 살펴 본 다음 우리나라 올림픽 선수 유니폼과 외국의 그것과 비교 분석해 봄으로써, 우리나라 올림픽 유니폼의 디자인 개발에 이바지할 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 유니폼의 제정동기는 신분표식, 질서유지의 필요에서 생겼으며, 그것은 군인 유니폼에서 발달되었다고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 오늘날 이것은 비단 군인뿐만 아니라, 특정한 단체의 상징으로까지 확대됨으로써 그것은 현대복식생활의 중요한 일면이 되었다. 1892년 올림픽 대회가 부활된 이래 점차 대형화되어 올림픽은 이제 범세계적인 행사가 되고 있다. 이러한 시점에 입각해 볼때 올림픽 선수단이 착용하게 되는 올림픽 유니폼의 중요성을 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 이와같은 측면에서 우리나라 올림픽 유니폼을 살펴 본 다음 외국의 그것과 비교해 본 결과 여러가지 문제점들이 발견되었다. 우리나라 올림픽 유니폼은 주로 중간색이나 어두운색으로 되어 있고 디자인에 상징성이 부여되어 있지 않으며, 현대감각에 입각하여 심미성이 부족하다는 것등이 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 이러한 문제점에 대하여 이론적인 배경을 바탕으로 다음과 같은 개선방안을 제시한다. 첫째, 올림픽 유니폼의 색상은 운동복이라는 점에 유의해서 우울하고 침체된 색상을 피하고 경쾌한 느낌을 주는 색상을 선택해야 한다. 둘째, 올림픽 유니폼은 그 나라를 대표한다는 사실을 고려해서 그 나라의 상징적 특성이 강조되어야 한다. 셋째, 유니폼이나 그 외의 모든 의복은 현대감각을 배려함으로써 심미적인 면도 아울러 고려되어야 한다. 넷째, 선수들이 입는 유니폼은 운동선수들의 운동량을 감안하여 기능성이 반영되어야 한다. 이를 위하여는 유니폼의 소재선택, 의복 구성등을 고려하여 디자인하여야 한다. 다섯째, 선은 복식의장을 하기 위한 중요한 시각적 요소이므로 디자인할 때 의복에 시각적인 효과를 얻기 위해서는 선의 형태적 특성을 감안하여 디자인하여야 한다.;The purpose of this research is as follows. This, to understand the importance of the Olympic Games by studying the relationship between the Olympic Games and our Country. Second, to study of the principles nessary to design a Uniform Third, to contribute to improving the design Olympic Uniforms by a comparative analysis of our Olympic uniform and that of foreign countries. The need for a uniforms is to show one's rank and to keep order Nowadays it symbolizes a certain group is well as a military force, therefore it has become an important aspect of modern day life. Since their restoration in 1892, the Olympic Games have been gradually enlarged, and become an international ceremony. Form this point of view, the Olympic unfform is important. After studying our olympic uniform and comparing it with those in other countries many problems are discovered. The color of our olympic uniform is mainly grey or dark and the design is lacking in esthetics from a modern of view. I suggest improving the uniform on a theoretical basis. First, we should choose lisht and cheerful color, not a gloomy or depressing one in order to stimulate vital activity. Second, the olympic uniform shows which country the player is from. It should therefore represent the character of the country. Third, the uniform should appeal to the eye. Fourth, An olympic uniform the material and the structure should be functional, in consideration of the player's activity. Fifth when adding a design or decorations to the uniform, line should be considered so as to Obtain the best visual effect possible.
